Congratulations to Justin and Kristen on the birth of their daughter, Wren! Justin and Kristen spent the months leading up with Wren's birth spending weekends with her birthmother and her family. Wren's birthmother was also adopted as a child and her family was extremely supportive of her throughout her adoption process. Wren was born April 28, 2017, to both an adoptive and birth family that love her so very much. We are grateful for adoptive parents like Justin and Kristen that so graciously opened their arms to an entire family during this process!
Andy and Lisa had almost an entire pregnancy to build a relationship with birthmother Tiffany. They were not only able to visit her, but Tiffany was able to visit Andy and Lisa at their home as well! Over the course of six months, Andy and Lisa remained in constant contact with Tiffany and were a huge part of her support system throughout the adoption plan. Sweet baby Daniel Alan was born April 23, 2017! Andy and Lisa may have waited 18 months for their son, but every trying moment was worth it the minute they met him. Daniel is one lucky little guy to have such a loving adoptive family and birthmother!
After one failed connection, Tony and Susan were ready for the birthmother meant for them. They were open and welcoming to birthmother, Cassie, and supportive of her throughout her pregnancy. When they got word that Cassie was in labor, they headed straight to her side and met Leo Jaxon Julius when he was born on April 19, 2017. We cannot send enough thanks to strong birthmothers like Cassie, and loving adoptive parents like Tony and Susan! We are sending all our love to this new family of three.
Birthmother Rebecca first contacted Angel in November 2016, but took until April 2017 to decide that adoption was the right plan for her. She felt an immediate connection to Tasha and Jeremy. Tasha and Jeremy only spoke with Rebecca a handful of times before she went into labor on April 12, 2017. Tasha and Jeremy met their son, William, shortly after he was born. Tasha and Jeremy had previously adopted with Angel, and we appreciate them being prepared for a quick second adoption! William was adopted in only eight short months! Congratulations to a returning Angel family on growing their family by one more!
A big congratulations to new parents Merissa and Matthew on the adoption of their son, Nico! Merissa and Matthew first spoke with birthmother Megan in January and were able to build a healthy relationship with her throughout the remainder of her pregnancy. Nico Lorenzo was born April 3, 2017, surrounded by the love of his adoptive parents and birth family. Thank you to Megan for her strength during the adoption process, and congratulations again to Merissa and Matthew!
Brian and Katie first connected with birthmother Ashley in September 2016, and stood by her throughout her pregnancy. They were able to be in the delivery room for the birth of Maddox Anthony on January 4, 2017. Prior to revocation passing, Ashley contacted Brian and Katie to let them know that she had a change of heart on the adoption plan. Brian and Katie were very supportive and respectful of Ashley and her decision; they brought Maddox back, allowing Ashley to parent as she wished. In early April, Brian and Katie contacted Angel to let us know that Ashley had reached back out and placed Maddox for adoption in their home! The timing is always right! Adoption is full of emotions and ups and downs, but Brian and Katie's story proves that anything can happen and that the relationship with the birthmother and the respect shown can go a long way. Congratulations to Brian and Katie - we are so proud to call you an Angel family!
Robin and Shannon worked with a number of birthmothers before connecting with the birthmother that was meant for them. They kept their hearts open throughout the entire process. When we presented them with a birthmother who was considering placing her seven-month-old daughter for adoption, Robin & Shannon were ready to move forward! They spent a weekend in early March visiting with the birthmother and her mother and returned weeks later for placement. Robin and Shannon were able to return home in early April, with their daughter Shiloh! Shiloh was born July 29, 2016, but found her way to her adoptive parents March 31, 2017. Thank you to Robin and Shannon for remaining open to all situations! We are grateful for birthmothers that consider adoption, no matter the timing.
When birthmother Tristen first contacted Angel, she initially began working with another family, but circumstances required her to select a new family. When reviewing additional profiles, she felt drawn to Peter and Amy. Peter and Amy were patient with Tristen, allowing her the time and space that she needed. They were able to meet their son, Weston Montgomery, shortly after he was born on March 22, 2017. The wait for Weston may have been a long one, but it was worth it! Congratulations to Peter and Amy, and thank you to birthmother Tristen!
Rachel and Nate had a brief connection with their birthmother, lasting only three days before she went into labor! As soon as they received the news, they headed to Michigan to meet their son. Kaden Richard was born on March 20, 2017. Rachel was adopted as a child and we are over the moon that they decided to also grow their family through the miracle of adoption, something so close to Rachel's heart.
Dustin and Amanda had only a month to get to know Shaelee, but they were able to get to know each other and had a great connection! Dustin and Amanda just made it to the hospital for the birth of their son, Parker Reece, born February 25, 2017. Amanda and Dustin had a long adoption journey, but Parker made every month worth the wait.
Brennan and Alex are the proud new daddies to beautiful baby girl, Hazel Gray! Brennan and Alex spent four months building a relationship with birthmother, Jerika. They were able to visit her in January and attend an ultrasound appointment with her, her mother, and aunt. Hazel Gray was born February 24, 2017, to a world already so in love with her. Brennan and Alex only had to wait 11 months to meet their bundle of joy!
Welcome to the world, Carson Michael! Michael and Linda became proud new parents of their baby boy, born on February 22, 2017. It was just a hop, skip, and jump for them to head to Michigan to finally meet what they had been waiting for. Through ups and downs, Linda and Michael stayed strong with their courage and determination to have a successful adoption, and their dreams came true! Angel Adoption is so very excited for you all!
Truly a story of great friendship and love. Kim and Joe had such an amazing connection with Joseph Raymond's birthmother and it brings us such joy to have led them to her. Joseph was born on February 23, 2017, with a head of hair and the cutest little nose. We are so thankful for being able to grow your family through adoption in just 14 months! While the waiting process was trying at times, Nikki and Johnathan remained confident. Birthmother Tasha contacted Angel and felt an instant connection with Scott and Michael. Scott and Michael were able to be with Tasha for all 30 hours of her delivery, and baby Taylor was born February 12, 2017! Taylor is one lucky little dude to have such amazing daddies and an amazing birthmom! We are over the moon excited for this new family of three.
Caron and Jason had a whirlwind of an adoption process, having it completed much sooner than they anticipated! Caron and Jason were selected by a birthmother due just 3 months after their profile was completed. They were able to speak with birthmother, Airyal, a number of times before her due date and get to know each other. Baby boy Ronald James was born February 7, 2017, and Angel could not be happier for this new family of three!
After one failed connection over the summer, Jeff and Lisa were ready to be presented to birthmothers in hopes of making a second connection. In November, they first spoke with Caitlin and had the pleasure of hosting her and her mom at their home one weekend. Cecilia Ann was born February 1, 2017, surrounded by the love of her birthmother and her adoptive parents. We are grateful for birthmothers and adoptive parents alike that build strong relationships throughout the adoption process.
Kelly and Jeff first spoke with Rebecca in October 2016, and were able to build a strong relationship with her. When Kaelin Kathleen was born on November 26, 2016, they were ready to welcome her with open arms. Angel is over the moon for this new family of three and is so proud of Rebecca for being strong through the adoption process and trusting that Jeff and Kelly were the right fit! Congratulations Kelly, Jeff, and Kaelin!
Trevin and Deon first signed with Angel in July 2016, and had mentally prepared themselves for a two-year adoption process. Much to their surprise, they were selected by a birthmother in November and were able to start building a relationship with her. They spent the better part of the holidays getting to know her and met their daughter, Nyla Michele, on January 26, 2017. Trevin and Deon never expected the adoption process to happen so quickly for them, but we are thankful that they were prepared and ready!
Crystal and Nick may have waited 21 months before being connected with their birthparents, but every moment was worth the wait. When they first spoke with birthparents Tabitha and Jeremiah, they immediately felt comfortable and at ease. They were able to travel to Tennessee prior to the birth and meet both birthparents for the weekend. Wyatt Harley was born January 30, 2017, and met his adoptive parents shortly after. During their connection, Tabitha shared that she loved the name Wyatt for a boy and Crystal and Nick chose to honor her by naming their son after her first choice. Congratulations to Crystal, Nick, and Wyatt, and thank you to Tabitha and Jeremiah for being so amazing throughout the adoption process.
Birthmother Renata first contacted Angel one month before her due date, but much to everyone's surprise, she went into labor only 15 days after contacting us. Baby boy Logan Ian was born January 23, 2017. Terrence and Monique were able to meet their son shortly after he was born. Terrence and Monique were so patient during this process, and even though it took 19 months for them to adopt, we are grateful that they remained faithful throughout!
When Jeanine and Justin's birthmother contacted Angel, her son had been born 24 hours earlier. While visiting Angel's website, she found Jeanine and Justin's profile and instantly felt a connection with them. Lucky enough for Jeanine and Justin, the baby was born in their home state, so they headed to the hospital that same evening. Austin Harper was born January 18, 2017, and met his adoptive parents the next day. Jeanine and Justin honored their birthmother by taking her last name as Austin's middle name! Congratulations to this new family!
Angel's first baby girl of 2017 was born January 13, 2017, to Elizabeth and Matt! Elizabeth and Matt spent the majority of Ashli's pregnancy supporting her emotionally, meeting with her, attending doctor appointments with her, and meeting her family. Carly Dyann was born January 13, 2017, and Elizabeth and Matt were able to be there for the birth. Congratulations to Elizabeth, Matt, and baby girl Carly, and thank you for Ashli for being so strong through the adoption process!
Birthmother Karina contacted Angel right at the end of her pregnancy, allowing her two months to get to know Paul and Brenda. Paul and Brenda were able to be there for the birth of their son, Cooper Jonathan, born January 11, 2017. While it took Paul and Brenda 25 months to adopt, the wait was worth it in the end!
On January 5, 2017, Mark and Beth received the call of a lifetime - they'd been selected by a birthmother whose son was born that morning. They spent a quick couple days arranging travel and headed to Texas to meet their son, Nolan Ryan. Mark and Beth waited 22 months before adopting, but in a world full of unknowns, we are grateful they were ready to move forward immediately. We are so excited for this new family!
Over the course of a six-month connection, Jessica and Joe provided endless support for birthmother Breonna, meeting with her throughout the pregnancy. Born on January 4, Jaxon Ryan was Angel's first baby of 2017. Congratulations to Joe and Jessica and their new bundle of joy!
After three failed adoptions in 2016, Jeff and Anna were ready for any situation thrown their way. In a quick turn of events, Jeff and Anna were selected by a birthmother due in just weeks! They were able to speak with her just a few times before they were headed to West Virginia to meet their daughter. Frankie Mikayla was born December 28, 2016, Angel's last baby born in 2016. Jeff and Anna took Frankie's name into careful consideration and gave her a middle name after both her birthparents, Kay and Mike. Touching stories like this warm our hearts and we are ever so thankful for adoptive parents and birthparents that are able to form such a special bond.
Birthmother Lisa contacted Angel when she was only two months pregnant. While she was hesitant about making an adoption plan, she put her faith and trust in Angel. She felt an instant connection with Anta and Shawn, and they welcomed her with open arms every opportunity they had to speak. They were supportive of her and her decisions throughout the process and were able to meet her a couple times and even treated her to an afternoon of pedicures! Cyler James was a Christmas baby, born December 24, 2016. We are over the moon for Shawn and Anta and their son Cyler!
Timothy and Christopher were in a bit of a unique situation where initially, they were only able to communicate with their birthmother through snail mail. They were so understanding of her situation and were able to open up and build a relationship with her. Just before Christmas, Timothy and Christopher were able to meet their birthmother in person, attended a doctor's appointment with her, and were there when she was induced two days later. Whitney Allison was born December 23, 2016, welcomed into the world by her two proud daddies. Congratulations to this new family of three!
Through the ups and downs of the adoption process, Charlie and Keely always remained upbeat, putting their faith in what was meant to be would be. They first made contact with birthmother Crystal in October and were able to be a vital part of her pregnancy. Sweet girl Lennox Blake was born on December 20, 2016, and met her adoptive parents shortly after. We cannot thank Charlie and Keely for being so loving with Crystal and so positive during their adoption journey.
