We are so proud to have helped so many families achieve their dreams of parenthood over the last 20 years. Please join us in congratulating these new parents on their recent successful newborn adoptions.
Every once in a while, a situation comes along that everyone involved knows is just meant to be. Tyler and Cadee felt this way about their relationship, having gotten married just seven months after their first date. And they had a similar feeling of serendipity as God led them on their path to their daughter, Ava. After joining Angel in May of 2017, they had their first conversation with Ava's birthmother in January 2018. Ava was born in early March and suddenly where God had brought together a family of two, it grew to three — all because two people fell in love and trusted God when He placed adoption in their hearts!
Amy and Marc spent the last part of 2018 getting to know their daughter's birthmother and building a special connection. Amy and Marc were able to be there for the birth of their daughter, welcoming Maya into the world on January 18, 2018. We are grateful for the relationship that was formed between Amy, Marc, and Maya's birthmother. What a special gift Maya has been!
In August, we reached out to Wendy with a potential connection. Despite the many uncertainties involved, Wendy stayed positive and was ready to move forward. Much to everyone's surprise, Wendy's birthmother went into labor at only 35 weeks and delivered a precious baby girl. Wendy was able to get to her daughter quickly and met her just 48 hours after she was born. Isabella Rose - Ella for short - was born October 1, 2017, eager to meet the world! Wendy spent the month of October at the hospital, allowing Ella the time she needed to get stronger. When they were discharged on October 20, they were quick to head back to the Midwest and settle into life together! Congratulations to this happy family!
Bobby and Korey were fully prepared for a long adoption process, but were blessed to connect with their son's birthparents after only eight months! They spent the final month of the pregnancy getting to know both birth parents and welcomed their son, Alexander Oakley, into the world on March 5, 2018. Although their connection was quick, Bobby and Korey were so caring toward their son's birthparents and their adoption plan. Congratulations to these two new daddies, Alexander is one lucky little guy!
Vera and Sheldon had very little time to prepare for the birth of their daughter, as she was born the same day that her birthmother contacted Angel! Originally planning to work with a local agency, their daughter's birthmom had an adoption plan in place, but due to the lack of responsiveness, she contacted Angel. Angel was quick to connect her with a family and Vera and Sheldon raced to Connecticut to meet their daughter. Marlie Jean was born February 24, 2018, and met her adoptive parents shortly after. Marlie's birthmother had placed for adoption in the past and while every pregnancy is different, we are grateful that she kept her heart open to this process a second time! Vera and Sheldon were nothing but wonderful with Marlie's birthmom and we are sending them all the love and happiness in the world!
While the wait for their daughter was long, it was worth it in the end! Robert and Tony started building a relationship with their daughter's birthmother in January, expecting to have until April to get to know her. Their daughter's birthmother ended up having an emergency delivery on February 24, 2018. The very next day, they met their daughter, Fiona! Going into the adoption process, Fiona's birthmother was leaning toward a closed adoption. After she saw the love and support Robert and Tony showed her, she decided she wanted to continue a relationship with them and Fiona in the future! Fiona is a lucky little girl to have the love of her birthmother and the love of her two dads. Congratulations!
When Karen and Jonathan's birthmother first saw their profile, she was instantly drawn to them because of the love they had for their pets. She is a vet tech and loved that they had animals in their home. After spending a weekend texting back and forth, everyone felt this was the perfect connection. Karen and Jonathan were able to spend the week of Thanksgiving with their daughter's birthmother, getting to know her and supporting her through the final days of her pregnancy. Sweet baby girl Anneliese was born on November 30, 2017, surrounded by the love of her birthmother and adoptive parents. Congratulations to this new family of three!
Marianne was confident that the adoption process was the way she was meant to build her family. After connecting, Marianne and her daughter's birthmother spent the weeks leading up to delivery getting to know each other. They even discussed names for the baby together! Royalty Elizabeth, born February 19, 2018, lives up to her name by being Marianne's little princess. Congratulations to new mom, Marianne, who is not only wonderful to Royalty but was so supportive of Royalty's birthmother through the adoption process.
After some failed connections, Heather and Lesha remained positive, knowing that the timing had to be perfect. In December 2017, Heather and Lesha were selected by a couple that knew adoption was the best choice for their daughter. All four parents were able to spend the end of 2017 and early 2018 building a loving relationship that will forever benefit their daughter. Riley Nicole was born on February 19, 2018, and was able to spend her first days of life with both her birthparents and adoptive parents. For Heather and Lesha, the failed connections were a blessing in disguise because they led them straight to Riley and her birthparents, who are family now.
After connecting with their daughter's birthmother, Chris and Aimee remained in contact with her through the final trimester of her pregnancy. Chris and Aimee's daughter, Preslee Rae, was born February 15, 2018, and she is the light of their life. Congratulations to Chris and Aimee on their newest family member!
Duane and Chanelle spent the better part of their daughter's birthmother's pregnancy getting to know her and her birthfather. They were able to visit with both birthparents in November 2017. Just before her scheduled C-section, they headed to Washington to spend some time together. Emma Jean was born on February 8, 2018, already loved by so many! Congratulations to Duane and Chanelle who adopted in six short months!
It's always special when both birthparents work together to create an adoption plan and that's exactly what Jaxon's story is like. Jaxon's birthparents contacted Angel in early 2018, considering adoption for their baby due in March. They started building a relationship with Lisa and Nicolai, assuming they had plenty of time before their son's arrival. Much to everyone's surprise, Jaxon's birthmother had an emergency delivery just days after their first contact! Jaxon was born January 15, 2018, and spent his first days getting stronger by the minute. Both of Jaxon's birthparents remained in contact with Lisa and Nicolai while they focused their attention on helping Jaxon grow. On February 7, Lisa and Nicolai made arrangements to head to Arizona and meet their son. It was love at first sight and they haven't looked back since! Lisa and Nicolai were gracious and loving towards Jaxon's birthparents, even when they weren't sure what the future may hold. Jaxon is blessed to have both his birthparents and adoptive parents that love him so dearly.
When Travis & Jessa's son's birthmother first contacted Angel, she fell in love with their profile, but was prepared to speak with the family just then. Travis and Jessa trusted Angel to walk with her through the process. Thankfully, they did not have to wait long to meet her OR their son! Braylon was born January 30, 2018, and met his adoptive parents and big brother just days later. Braylon's middle name, Cass, is in honor of his strong and loving birthmother that both Travis and Jessa were able to meet just before discharge. Angel is forever thankful for the women that have the strength to create an adoption plan and the loving families that open their hearts to adoption!
For every successful adoption, there is a loving birthmother that made the courageous choice to contact Angel. Jenny and Jesse's daughter's birthmom contacted Angel just weeks before her due date, with the support of her sister. She felt an instant connection with Jenny and Jesse's profile. They started with a phone conversation one weekend and continued with text messages throughout the week. Jenny and Jesse were able to be in the delivery room when their daughter, Arabella (Bell) Joy, was born on January 24, 2018. Jenny, Jesse, and Bell spent their first days together with Bell's birthmother before introducing Bell to her big sister, who was also adopted! What a wonderful family story Jenny and Jesse have to share, to adopt not only once, but twice!
Angela and Erik became first-time parents on January 20, 2018, when Isabella June was born! Angela and Erik first connected with their daughter's birthmother in November 2017, and made the cross-country trip just months later for Isabella's entrance into the world. Congratulations to this new family of three!
After a successful first adoption with their daughter, Donna and Dawn returned to Angel to grow their family again. Through a few failed connections, they remained faithful and positive, and we are so thankful they did! In a quick turn of events, Donna and Dawn connected with their son's birthmother on a Friday afternoon and by the following Sunday, January 7, 2018, their baby boy Logan was born. They were quick to head to Florida to meet their son and embrace his birthmother. They started the weekend without a son and ended the weekend as a family of four! Angel is sending warm wishes and happy thoughts to these two mommies and Angel's newest big sister!
With no time to spare, Emily and Peter hopped on a plane from Missouri to California one Sunday afternoon to meet their newest addition, James Daniel! James was born January 6, 2018, and met Emily and Peter just days later. Emily and Peter adopted their older son from Angel three years ago, so they were prepared for the last-minute decision making that adoption sometimes requires. We want to send the biggest thank you to James' birthmom for choosing adoption and a huge congratulations to Emily and Peter for growing their family through adoption a second time!
After a quick connection with their birthmother, Maria and Pierre welcomed their sweet baby girl, Emma, on January 5, 2018! They feel blessed to have her in their life. Congratulations to Pierre and Maria — we know that 2018 will be a magical year for your new family!
No strangers to adoption, Jacob and Sulah returned to Angel for a second adoption four years after they adopted their daughter. Fully prepared for the wait time and the potential ups and downs, they were connected with their daughter's birthmother and adopted in 12 months! Sulah, Jacob, and their daughter's birthmother spent the latter part of 2017 getting to know each other. They were even able to visit her in early November and spend time with her and her kids. Sulah and Taylor's birthmother were able to spend ample time together the day Taylor was born, savoring those final moments together. Taylor Nevaeh was born December 29, 2017, Angel's last baby born in 2017! All of our best wishes to this new family of four as they head into 2018!
After two failed connections in eight months, Toby and Lisa had every reason to feel discouraged about adoption, but they continued to push forward. As the saying goes, third time's the charm! In a quick, five-day whirlwind, Lisa and Toby first spoke with their son's birthmother and planned a visit with her, but before they could get to her, their son was born! Miles Tobias couldn't wait to meet everyone and came into the world on December 27, 2017. While the journey to Miles wasn't always easy, it was definitely worth it!
We truly believe that what's meant to be will always find a way. Shortly after their time with Angel had ended, an expectant mother contacted us fully in love with Michelle and David's profile that she had received when she originally contacted us months prior. Angel reached out to Michelle and David to explain the unique situation, and they were completely on board with building a relationship and seeing where this journey took them. Between a move, updating their home study, and getting to know their daughter's birthmother, it was a busy fall for Michelle and David! Sweet Hannah Isabelle was the most wonderful Christmas gift for Michelle and David, born December 22, 2017. We are grateful that Michelle and David remained so open-minded and to Hannah's birthmother for giving them the most special gift of all!
Over a very quick month, Adrienne and Chadd built a relationship with their daughter's birthmother and welcomed their daughter, Vivian, into the world on December 22, 2017. Christmas 2017 will be one that Chadd and Adrienne will forever remember as the Christmas they grew to be a family of three, thanks to Vivian's strong and courageous birthmother.
Aubrey and Geoff were prepared for the long wait that adoption sometimes entails, but to their surprise, they found themselves working with an expectant mother after only six months. Their son's birthmother had originally contacted Angel in October, unsure of her adoption plan, and ultimately decided adoption was not right for her. Only a few weeks later, she contacted Angel to let us know she was prepared to move forward and loved Aubrey and Geoff's profile. Geoff was deployed at the time, so Aubrey spent a handful of weeks communicating with their son's birthmother and relaying the relationship back to him. Wesley Philip was born December 19, 2017, and met his adoptive mom just days later! It was a quick and emotional relationship, but what a wonderful time for Aubrey, Geoff, Wesley, and Wesley's birthmother!
When Corey and Rita's son's birthmother first saw their profile online, she felt an instant connection with their photos and knew they were the right family for her child. While their contact was minimal, their conversations remained positive and they were able to find out a bit about her life and her wishes for her child. Elliot James Bennett was born December 14, 2017, and met his adoptive parents just after his entrance into the world! It may have taken 20 months to meet their son, but every minute of waiting was worth it. Congratulations to Corey and Rita on the adoption of Elliot!
Through the ups and downs of adoption and one failed connection, Serina and Jace remained hopeful that adoption was the best path for growing their family. They first spoke with their son's birthmother in the Fall of 2017, and spent the remainder of the year walking through her pregnancy together. Bex Randal Isaac was born December 7, 2017, and instantly loved by Serina and Jace. While their adoption journey wasn't always smooth, we are thankful they kept their hearts open to adoption and their son's birthmother! Congratulations to this new family of three.
Oftentimes it takes just one phone call for life to change. This was the case for Jason and Heidi. Angel reached out to Jason and Heidi on December 7, 2017, letting them know a baby girl had been born that morning in Ohio, and if they were open to the last-minute, cross-country travel, their daughter was waiting! Their daughter's birthmother had been in and out of contact with Angel previously, but ultimately contacted us about the adoption from the hospital. Heidi and Jason were quick to get things in order and headed to Ohio to meet their daughter. Kyrie Jade was born December 7, 2017, and met her adoptive parents just a day later. The timeline for adoption can be unpredictable, from mothers that contact after delivery to families whose lives change in an instant. We are forever thankful to Kyrie's birthmother for choosing adoption and are over the moon for Jason and Heidi and their new bundle of joy!
While their time with Angel was only a short nine months, we loved helping Chase and Constanza throughout their adoption journey. Chase and Constanza first connected with their son's birthmother in August 2017, communicating through text messages. In August, they made the trip to Arizona to meet her in person and were able to attend an ultrasound appointment with her. Just days before her due date, they flew to Arizona once more to spend the final days of her pregnancy together. Clyde was born December 4, 2017, happy and healthy as could be! What a wonderful way for Chase and Constanza to end their 2017!
Mayra and Brian had very little time to spend getting to know their son's birthmother before she delivered on November 30, 2017! Baby Beau met his adoptive parents shortly after birth. We are forever thankful to Beau's birthmother for considering an adoption plan. Congratulations to Mayra and Brian and their growing family!
Through six failed adoptions, Kelly and Charles continued to remain hopeful that the adoption process would work for them when the time was right. Kelly and Charles' world turned upside down when we presented them with a baby girl, who was born on November 27, 2017, and waiting to meet her adoptive parents! They were quick to move forward and were able to meet their daughter, Marissa Ann, on November 28, just one day after she was born. Kelly was able to meet Marissa's birthmother and express her gratitude for choosing adoption. Everyone's adoption path is different and through all the ups and downs, we are forever thankful that Kelly and Charles continued to stay positive! Congratulations!
While the waiting period was not always easy, it was all worth it for this sweet baby girl. Jon and Liz first spoke with their daughter's birthmother only weeks before she delivered. They were quick to head to St. Louis in mid-November when they found our their daughter was born. Abigail Rose was born on November 14, 2017, and met her parents shortly after! Jon and Liz spent Thanksgiving with their daughter in her birth state, loving on their newest blessing. Congratulations to Jon, Liz, and baby Abigail!
