We are so proud to have helped so many families achieve their dreams of parenthood over the last 20 years. Please join us in congratulating these new parents on their recent successful newborn adoptions.
After seriously considering her adoption plan and reading through a number of profiles, birthmother Brooke felt a connection with Alison and Paul that she knew was right. Brooke, Alison, and Paul were all able to meet for a weekend, furthering their strong relationship. Harrison Maximilian was born July 26, 2017, surrounded by the love of his biological and adoptive families. We are so happy for our newest Angel family!
Val and Greg first spoke with birthmother Megan in May and spent two months building a loving foundation for her daughter. Val and Greg's plan was to arrive five days prior to Megan's due date so they could spend time with her prior to delivery. Much to their surprise, on their way to the airport, they got a call that Megan was in labor! Val arrived just six hours after their daughter was born and Greg arrived the next morning. Elizabeth Leandra was born July 24, 2017, into a world that was already in love with her. It's so important that adoptive families and birthmothers are on the same page throughout the adoption process, and we are thankful that Greg, Val, and Megan all loved Elizabeth so much to put her first!
When Justin and Hayley signed with Angel in March of 2017, they were prepared for a 24-month wait, as we prepare all of our families for. Much to their surprise, at the end of June, a birthmother who was due in July fell in love with their online profile. While it was a quick one-week connection, they built a strong foundation with birthmother Katlyn and were able to spend time with her before she gave birth. Gorgeous baby girl, Kallie, was born July 21, 2017, and was able to spend time with all those that love her. From the entire Angel family, we wish this new family nothing but the best!
Being their second adoption, Joe and Melissa were no strangers to this process and knew that when the time was right, the perfect birthmother would connect with them. Birthmother Shelby contacted Angel in early June, requesting that we select a family for her. We knew that Joe and Melissa were perfect for Shelby. Their understanding of the adoption process and their willingness to jump in feet first is exactly what we needed. Shelby delivered a healthy, happy baby boy on July 20, 2017, that Joe and Melissa met shortly after. Theodore David was instantly loved by all, including his new big brother! Angel is so grateful for families that trust the adoption process and birthmothers that put their faith in our staff. Congratulations to Joe and Melissa on their growing family!
Josh and Sarah had only been signed with Angel for five short months before their profile was selected by birthmother Mayra. Over the course of three months, Josh, Sarah, and Mayra were able to build a supportive relationship leading up to delivery. Both adoptive parents were able to be present for the birth of their son, Noah Frederick, born July 19, 2017. We are all in awe of Mayra's strength through this process and her positive attitude. We are over the moon for this new family of three and know that this process would not have been possible without amazing women like Mayra!
After a tough start to the adoption process, birthmother Catie made a connection with Jennifer and Kelton and felt at ease with them immediately and for the remainder of her pregnancy. Kelton and Jennifer were quick to head to Kentucky to meet Catie prior to delivery and spent a wonderful weekend with her and her family. On July 14, 2017, Catie gave birth to a precious baby boy, and Kelton and Jennifer became parents to Thomas William. While their connection may have been short, it was nothing short of powerful.
When Dan and Lindsay first signed with Angel in 2013, they had no clue what their adoption journey would hold. After numerous failed connections, they were able to adopt their first child outside of Angel and placed their time with Angel on hold while they loved on their new bundle of joy. When they were ready to return to Angel at the end of 2016, they felt prepared to jump back into the unknown. The beginning of 2017 started with two more failed connections, but they still remained hopeful. When birthmother Nikkia contacted Angel in June, wavering on her adoption plan, we were supportive of her throughout the remainder of her pregnancy. Nikkia gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy on July 3, 2017, but didn't choose to move forward with an adoption plan until July 8. Our first call was to Lindsay and Dan to see if they would be interested in moving forward with Nikkia and her son and they immediately said yes. Dan and Lindsay met their son, Eli Martin, on July 19, 2017, and were instantly in love. While the road that led them to Eli was bumpy, we all know that when it's meant to be it will. We are grateful for Dan, Lindsay, and Nikkia for all putting baby Eli first!
Adoptive families and birthmothers can find their way to each other in many different ways, and Angel is happy to assist in all types of adoption plans. When birth parents Melissa and Anthony began to consider adoption, Melissa's sister suggested a couple she knew named Steve and Faith who were adopting through Angel. Melissa reached out to let us know she was interested in getting to know Steve and Faith. As a result, Steve, Faith, Melissa, and Anthony spent six months walking through the adoption process together, including a weekend trip to Florida to meet Melissa and Anthony and attend a doctor's appointment together. Steve and Faith were able to be there when Melissa was induced and met their daughter, Olivia Joy, the minute she was born on June 7, 2017. Over the course of a six-month connection, these two families had a chance to form a very special bond that will forever be part of Olivia's story.
Having adopted her son with Angel in 2015, Heather is no stranger to adopting. Although every adoption story is different, Heather was prepared for the journey. Birthmother Lafiria first contacted Angel in October of 2016, during the beginning stages of her pregnancy. Through multiple follow-ups and family profiles, Lafiria felt Heather was the best mother for her child. Though their relationship was filled with ups and downs, Heather remained by Lafiria's side throughout her pregnancy. When Lafiria decided to parent, Heather left the lines of communication open, and baby girl Alexis Chyler was born on June 10, 2017. When Lafiria reached out to Heather in July of 2017 expressing her desire to move forward with the adoption plan, Heather quickly headed to North Carolina and met her daughter. Heather so graciously spent time with Alexis and Lafiria, allowing them the time to say good bye. Congratulations on a second Angel adoption and thank you to Lafiria for keeping your heart open to Heather throughout the process!
Birthmother Jessica contacted Angel just 48 hours before her scheduled C-section, with the one request that the family be there for the birth. Angel's team moved quickly and was able to arrange for adoptive mom, Jessica, to be there for the birth of her son Garrison Shane on June 22, 2017. Although birthmother Jessica requested a closed adoption, she met with adoptive mom Jessica prior to delivery and allowed her to be in the delivery room and made sure that she was the first to hold him upon delivery. They were able to spend brief moments together the next day, forever leaving an imprint on everyone's hearts. We cannot send enough thanks to birthmom Jessica for opening her heart to adoption, and to adoptive mom, Jessica, for being so loving towards Garrison's birthmother.
Birthmother Misha first contacted Angel in December 2016, but didn't move forward with a family until April 2017. We are grateful that Misha kept us in the back of her mind and we were able to connect her with the perfect family. Misha spent the final two months of her pregnancy getting to know Tim and Samantha, meeting them for lunch one weekend and even deciding on a baby name together. Tim and Samantha were able to be there for Misha's induction, welcoming their daughter Colette Summer into the world on June 21, 2017. From everyone here at Angel, we are over the moon for this new family!
In a split second, Audra's life changed for the better. Angel received a call from a birthmother named Sarah on June 19, asking if we'd be able to help her through an adoption plan even if her daughter was born that morning. Sarah had already visited our website and had fallen in love with Audra's profile. Less than 24 hours after the birth, Audra headed to Texas to meet her daughter. Anna Marie was born June 19, 2017, and was able to meet her mom the very next day. Angel is grateful for birthmoms like Sarah that keep adoption as an option even at the last moment, and adoptive parents like Audra that are ready to have their lives changed overnight. Audra adopted in 11 months!
The best adoption stories are born out of love for both the unborn child and the birthmother. TJ and Pauline first connected with Mary in January and spent months supporting her throughout her pregnancy. They first met her in February for dinner, and then attended multiple doctor visits with her throughout the final trimester. They were able to celebrate Mary's birthday and really enjoy their time together prior to delivery. When it came time for Mary to deliver, TJ and Pauline were able to be in the delivery room with her, being the first to greet Kendrick Julian when he entered the world on June 17, 2017. Over the course of their 21-month journey with Angel, TJ and Pauline had multiple failed adoptions, but continued to keep their hearts open to adoption and were able to finally connect with their perfect birthmom.
While the birth of their son was stressful, we are thankful that April and Matt remained calm through their adoption journey. Birthmother Ranisha contacted Angel with a unique situation: her youngest child had been born at only 25 weeks, and she was expecting her latest pregnancy to follow the same path. Although not due until August, Ranisha gave birth to a baby boy on May 25, 2017. April and Matt were quick to head to Nebraska, where they met their son, Zechariah Barry. Throughout Zechariah's time in the NICU, he was surrounded by the love and support of April and Matt, who never left his side. April and Matt finally received the go ahead to return back home to Alabama, on July 19, 2017, and they sang "Sweet Home Alabama" all the way home. Thank you to Ranisha, who was 100% confident in her adoption plan, and to April and Matt for sticking with Ranisha, Angel, and most importantly, Zechariah!
Birthmother Shatell first reached out to Angel in November 2016 but didn't move forward with a family or adoption plan until March 2017. Robyn and Jaren were able to build a strong relationship with Shatell, even FaceTiming with her during the doctor's appointment that revealed the baby's gender. Robyn and Jaren met their son, Elijah Jaren, shortly after he was born on May 31, 2017. Congratulations to this new Angel family!
On April 4, 2017, Stephanie and Ryan first heard from Angel that their profile had been selected by a birthmother named Kassandra. Much to their surprise, they were headed to Michigan only six days later after their daughter was born! Marlee Rose was born April 12, 2017, and met her adoptive parents shortly after. Stephanie and Ryan were able to spend time with their birthmom and their daughter in the hospital and named Marlee together. Marlee was Kassandra's first choice name and Stephanie and Ryan chose Rose as her middle name. Marlee is a lucky little girl to be loved by so many!
Oftentimes, the adoption process is full of unknowns and what ifs. When baby girl Evelyn Ann was born a full month early, adoptive fathers Kory and Jordan were up for the challenge. Though they spent a full month in the NICU, their communication with their birthmother remained positive and their love for their daughter only continued to grow. Evelyn Ann graced the world on April 28, 2017, and finally got to go home with her daddies on May 30, 2017. With a smile like hers, we know that Evelyn is going to light up every room she walks into!
In a whirlwind of a couple days, Hope and Kevin had no idea what to expect from their short and quick connection with Whitney. Located only hours away from Whitney, they were able to be there just after the birth of their son, Benjamin Oliver, born May 28, 2017. Families that are prepared for adoption at a moment's notice make the process that much easier. Wishing nothing but the best to this new family!
Angel assists birthmothers of all different sorts of backgrounds and loves when families are supportive through the adoption process. Birthmother Ashton first contacted Angel in October 2016, but took until January 2017, and the support of her mom to proceed with the adoption process. Both Ashton and her mom felt a connection to Nick and Niki and were able to get to know each other through the remainder of her pregnancy. Baby boy, Sawyer Tuff, was born May 16, 2017, sharing his birthday with another Angel baby! We are over the moon for new parents, Nick and Niki!
When Leila first adopted from Angel in 2011, she was confident it wouldn't be her last adoption. Through multiple failed connections, Leila remained faithful that adoption was meant to bless her family again. While her connection with Fatuma was filled with ups and downs, Leila was always available for her and supportive throughout the pregnancy. Baby girl, Maya Bethany, was born May 16, 2017, and Leila was able to be there for Fatuma's induction. We are ever so grateful for returning Angel families and the love that they provide to birthmothers and their adopted children.
What could be better than one baby? TWO babies! Congratulations to Jayne and Rich on the birth of their twins, Elliott Michael and Elyssa Amanda, born May 25, 2017. Jayne and Rich lived only hours from birthmother Philshonjra, and Jayne was able to be at the doctor's appointment when they found out Philshonjra was having twins! Jayne and Rich were also able to be there for the scheduled C-section of the twins, meeting them right away. We are over the moon excited for Jayne, Rich, and their growing family! Thank you to Philshonjra for trusting Angel throughout the adoption process and being such a positive light to a hopeful family.
Birthmother Leah admitted she was considering adoption for months prior to contacting Angel in early May. She was aware that her due date was right around the corner, but as soon as she read through Staci and Jeremy's profile, she felt at ease with her decision to move forward with adoption. Just 24 hours after first texting with Jeremy and Staci, Leah went into labor. Lucky for Staci and Jeremy, Leah was only hours away from them! Sweet baby girl Abigail Lillian was born May 13, 2017, and was able to spend her first hours in the world surrounded by the love of her birthmom and adoptive parents. From all of us here at Angel, we wish Jeremy, Staci, and Abigail nothing but love and happiness!
Birthmother Freonna contacted Angel on May 8, only to go into labor less than 24 hours later! Thanks to families prepared for adoption, when Freonna selected Heather and Kendra as the adoptive parents to her son, they were ready to go. Heather and Kendra quickly headed to Michigan to meet their son, Jayden, born May 9, 2017. Congratulations to new moms Heather and Kendra!
When Robert and McKenzie first returned to Angel for their second adoption, they had an idea of what to expect from the process. They could not have predicted that the birthmother that selected them would want a closed adoption with zero communication. Robert and McKenzie had only a week to get attorneys and travel plans in place before their son, Corban, was born May 8, 2017. We are grateful for returning Angel families, especially when the process requires an extra push of faith. We know that Robert and McKenzie will always speak highly of Corban's birthmother and we are thankful that Corban's birthmother trusted Angel through her adoption process.
Adoption stories are born out of love for not only a child but a birth family. When Jeff and Jeff were first connected with a young birthmother, they knew they had to welcome her and her mother into their lives with open arms. Initially, they were only in contact with the birthmother's mom, but over time were able to build a relationship with the birthmother as well and visit as a group one weekend. When their birthmother went into labor, Jeff and Jeff were able to be by her side, meeting their daughter Camryn Jean on May 7, 2017. Angel is grateful for adoptive parents that understand that adoption is not only about their growing family, but the family the child is coming from. Congratulations to new daddies Jeff and Jeff on the adoption of their daughter!
Lara and Kevin were first selected by birthmother Lyndsey in April and spent the next month getting to know her and her family. They were able to be there for the birth of their daughter, Morgan Lee, born May 4, 2017! Lyndsey put her faith and trust in all of us, and we are excited to know that a friendship has developed between her and Morgan's adoptive parents. Congratulations to Angel's newest family, Lara, Kevin, and Morgan!
A big congratulations to parents Christopher and Aimee on adopting their son! Christopher and Aimee spent the majority of their birthmother's pregnancy supporting her throughout the adoption process. Jack was born on May 3, 2017. Their birthmom, Darrean, has been such a blessing to them and their new family and we couldn't thank Darrean enough for her strength, courage, and selflessness during this journey. Congratulations again, Christopher and Aimee!
Angel would like to send our congratulations to new dads, Tracy and Michael! Tracy and Michael became proud daddies to baby girl, Lyla Jane, on April 22, 2017. Tracy and Michael spent just a couple of months connecting with birthmother Holly, supporting her through her pregnancy. They met Lyla Jane shortly after she was born, all ready to welcome her into their lives. Lyla is a lucky little girl to have such wonderful, loving dads around her!
