dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you again for even giving our profile a read. Thank you for thinking of the needs of your child. Thank you for considering adoption as this has to be the most difficult decision in your life. We have gone through rough days with Melissa’s health concerns, which pale in comparison to the decision you have to make. And we know you are not making this decision lightly. Without you, we would not be able to create the family we have always envisioned for our lives. If chosen, we will forever be grateful for your selflessness, as we cannot even imagine the emotions you must be feeling.
Please rest assured that if we adopt your child, your child will be loved every day of their life. Your child will always have a home that is full of love, laughter, and probably a lot of good food. If given the opportunity, we will always make sure your child understands the sacrifice you made for them—the sacrifice we know you are making because you love your child more than anything. We will strive to incorporate you into your child’s life and raise them with the knowledge of your loving impact on their life.
Thank you again for making this difficult decision and giving us the opportunity to share who we are with you.
Zack and Melissa
About Us
Hi! We are Zack and Melissa, and we are so excited to have you view our profile! We consider ourselves to be a fun-loving couple who enjoy making each other laugh through life. Zack is a mental health counselor who works with children and adults, addressing various mental health needs. Melissa works for a food manufacturer in the consumer packaged goods industry and works from home with our dog, Taco, as her favorite coworker. We enjoy spending time outside on local nature trails, trying new restaurants in the area, and spending time inside with our favorite take-out and TV show. We love to get together with our friends and family and play our favorite board games or video games. Melissa enjoys cooking and baking new recipes, and Zack enjoys being her taste tester. We both have our daily routines, which includes being active and taking Taco on many walks. After each of our work days, we unwind together.
Our Home & Pets
We live on the East Coast of Virginia and enjoy the benefits of coastal living. We live in a six-bedroom home in a well-established neighborhood. We have a large fenced yard and live a few blocks away from a mall with many restaurants. We live close to a beautiful park and only about 20 minutes away from the ocean or bay. There are many well-rated and inclusive school districts in the area, with an elementary school within walking distance from our home. We also have a loving and affectionate dog named Taco. We have had her for three years and adopted her from our local ASPCA. We believe she is about four years old.
Our Extended Family
We both come from large extended families but in unique ways.
Melissa only has one older brother but many cousins she grew up with. Melissa’s mom was one of eight children, and each of them had at least one child. Melissa’s dad was one of three, but he had many cousins as well. Both of Melissa’s families are Italian-American with the stereotypical Italian-American traditions. Melissa grew up with Sunday family dinners after church, where both her mom’s and dad’s side would come over to their house and stay until dark. Melissa grew up with the notion that family is most important.
Zack has one biological sister and five step-siblings. Zack’s parents separated when he was young, and each remarried. Each of Zack’s siblings is unique in their own way and engaged at different levels in his life. Zack works alongside his biological sister in mental health counseling. Zack enjoys cookouts with his mom’s side of the family who live in Virginia. Zack’s father and family reside in Ohio. Zack and his biological sister have made yearly camping trips with their dad and their step-mom.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are excited about the opportunity to adopt because we have always desired to create a family, which includes children. Our path to creating a family has led us to adoption because Melissa has a medical issue that doesn’t affect her life in general, but a pregnancy would be risky. We are grateful for this chance to adopt a child and hope to continue to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
