dear expectant mother
We know reading our profile is another part of what must be an emotionally and physically exhausting time for you. Your decision is an unimaginably difficult one, and we respect your strength and are grateful for the time you are giving to us. We want you to know that during this process, we will be there for you as much or as little as you’d like. If you choose us, we will go to the ends of the earth for your baby and do everything in our power to raise your child well.
Should you choose us, we promise your baby will be so loved, not just by us but by a close-knit and loyal family. Your child will be raised in a home of strong values and family traditions with mutual love and respect. They will have two parents who are an equal team in everything. Your child will be given every opportunity you could hope for, whether that means adventures, education, after-school activities, or healthcare. Most importantly, we will help them achieve their own dreams for the future.
We have so much to offer you and your baby, and we hope to be able to share that with you both.
About Us
We are high school sweethearts who made it work long distance. Stephanie grew up in Texas and David in Louisiana. We were finally able to unite during college and got married before starting law school. Stephanie is in-house counsel for a health insurer, and David works as an attorney for the federal government. We often close out our work days together in our living room, listening to music or reading. Both of us chose jobs that allow plenty of time for adventures, whether it’s a weekend beach trip, exploring other countries, or attending baseball and football games. Family is an important part of our lives, and we host weekly family dinners and holiday dinners. Stephanie loves to cook and is always trying new recipes. When she doesn’t feel like cooking, we love going out to eat, especially to our favorite local Mexican joint for queso, enchiladas, and fajitas.
Our Home & Pets
We own a beautiful four-bedroom home in our favorite neighborhood in our city. We are minutes away from our jobs, our favorite restaurants, bookstores, theaters, grocery stores, and David’s church. David loves going for runs or pulling our niece and nephew in a wagon under the oak trees that line our streets. We have a big kitchen where everyone gathers, and our guest room is often filled with visiting family. When the Southern weather allows, we love sitting on our patio watching movies and sports or enjoying our firepit. Our dog, Mellie, loves our big backyard and thinks every person she meets is her new best friend. We also have a cat who loves to sit in our sunroom and watch the birds feasting at our bird feeders.
Our Extended Family
Stephanie grew up with her mother, stepfather, and younger brother. Her brother and his wife are in the Air Force. We loved visiting him at his previous post in Italy and can’t wait to visit him in Japan. Stephanie’s parents and their dogs often drive over from Texas to visit. Now that her mom has retired, she’s let us know she’s practically planning to move in once she has a grandchild to spoil.
David has three older brothers. One is an executive who lives in Georgia with his wife. Another is in sales. The other is an attorney, and he, his son, and his son’s mother (one of Stephanie’s best friends) often make the short walk to our house. Our nephew’s aunt and his cousin, whom we love like a niece, also walk over often.
Our family is small in number but big in love. David’s brothers are some of his best friends. We have many family traditions, such as our epic Thanksgiving dinners with enough food to feed ten families or Christmases spent around one of our three Christmas trees. We love to vacation as a group, from hiking in Tennessee to enjoying Disney World and trips to the beach.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted children and knew adoption was the path we were on very early in our relationship. A good friend and her husband went on their own adoption journey recently, and seeing the joy their beautiful son brings them makes us know growing our family through adoption will fulfill us in the same way. We can’t wait to share our love and adventures with a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
