dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We do not know the circumstances that have led you to this place, but please know we are praying for you, your child, and your family. We are grateful you love your child so much that you are willing to consider an adoption plan for him or her. We are already parents, so we know that words cannot express the love between parents and their child.
If you choose us, we promise to love and care for your child unconditionally. We will provide them with a loving and caring family filled with laughter and countless hours of fun. There will never be a day that goes by when they will wonder if they are loved. We promise to provide a home where he or she will thrive and always be supported, loved, and cheered on. We promise to stand by them and teach them all about what life has to offer and to always look to God.
Please know that your child will always know how much you love them and how selfless you were to make the brave decision to place them for adoption. All children are gifts, and you would be giving us the greatest gift imaginable by adding to our family. Ricky will be beyond blessed to have your child as his sibling. We are excited to welcome another child into our home, and we look forward to the journey ahead.

About Us
We’ve been together for over fifteen years and happily married for nine now. We grew up three miles from each other, and our friendship quickly turned into love. Michael is one of the kindest, silliest, caring people that Richlyn’s ever met. He loves to play football, the outdoors, and to help on the family’s farms as well as woodworking. He looks forward to when our child is old enough to be able to pass the tradition to them. Richlyn is the most genuine person Michael’s had the pleasure to know. Her kind heart and love for others makes everyone that meets her a better person. She is an amazing cook and loves cooking with our nephews and nieces as well as our families. Our son, Ricky, is sweet and silly and loves to learn new things. He will be an amazing, loving big brother.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom home located in a rural area. We have a large yard with plenty of room for children to play. Our neighborhood is safe, and the people have great relationships with one another. The closest town is only eight miles away and is a great community with plenty of restaurants and parks with play equipment for kids of all ages. Our school district is small but has many opportunities for the children to be part of (sports, music/theater, agriculture/outdoors, scholastics, etc.). We have a four-year-old golden retriever/black Labrador that LOVES kids. She will be a wonderful companion to your child and will love having another little one to give her treats.
Our Extended Family
We both come from big, loving families. Michael is the oldest of four, and Richlyn is one of five siblings. Our parents and grandparents all live within three miles of each other, so we spend a lot of time with them. Most of our siblings live close to us as well, so we get to see our eleven nephews and nieces often. Every holiday we get together with everyone, have big meals, and spend time visiting, playing games, and laughing a lot. Each Christmas season, everyone comes over to our house to make and decorate dozens of Christmas cookies. The kids LOVE it! During the summer, a lot of time is spent fishing and having fish fries or cookouts at our parents’ houses.
Our families are extremely supportive of us adopting. Our parents are looking forward to being grandparents again while our nephews and nieces are very excited to welcome a new cousin to the family and to teach them how to play games.
Our Adoption Story
Even before we were married, we spoke about adoption being part of our family plan. One of our dear friends who was adopted has spoken of her birthparents and adoptive parents, which helped us learn about how rewarding it is to so many. Our first adoption journey started in 2018, and we adopted our child in 2021. He is such a blessing to us and our families. We matched with his birthmother six months before his due date and were able to build a great relationship with her. We continue to have a relationship with her and are thankful for her each day. After much prayer, we believe the Lord has led us to this moment to grow our family once again.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
