dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to consider us as the family to raise your child. We know this decision is not easy and empathize with you in this journey you are taking. A child in our family will be brought up with traditions and a wide variety of cultural experiences. We have so much love and display it every day in our interactions with our son, Maverick. Living in Florida, we are in a very diverse community that is centered on outdoor activities. We hope for the opportunity for our child to learn new languages and embrace other cultures alongside their brother. Our fondest memories growing up are our annual trips with our families, and we’ll keep this tradition alive with our own family.

Being surrounded by many younger cousins, our children will grow up in a family full of love and attention. They will have a best friend and brother who will understand and can relate to their journey of adoption.

We hope to develop an understanding of the life you intend for the child to have and would aim to fulfill such wishes. We have a positive relationship with our son’s birthmother and intend to build upon these positive relationships out of the best interest for the child. Thank you for your consideration, and we hope we have answered any questions you may have about how we can provide a safe, fun, and stable life for your child.

About Us

We are an outgoing couple who are hardworking, embrace our environment, and value our families. We adopted our son, Maverick, who is the center of our universe. Craig is an Area Director of Operations for hotels in a large metropolitan city, and Richard has worked in law enforcement for many years. Each day we both get to work directly with others and help people. Our jobs allow us the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. We have flexibility in our schedules, which allows us the ability to balance work and home life to always ensure there is time to enjoy the important things in life and spend time with our friends and family. When not working, we spend time enjoying the outdoors with our son and puppy, Rio. We frequent the gym, participate in run clubs, and value a healthy lifestyle. We are in close communication with our families on a regular basis, which gives us a strong support network.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a warm, tropical, urban environment with a vast array of cultural experiences. Living in this area allows us to spend a lot of time outdoors and at the beach. Our three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is in a safe area close to great schools and state parks; we have three parks within walking distance. The children in our care will have the ability to grow up in a neighborhood surrounded by many other children to help them socialize and enjoy their youth. We intend to continue to bring our children to the beach with us, go boating and kayaking, spend hours at the neighborhood park, and have playdates with the children of our friends and family.

Our Extended Family

Craig grew up in the Midwest in a Lutheran family with two brothers and two sisters who have their own children. Craig grew up enjoying traditions centered on the Christian faith. Spending Christmas going caroling, wrapping presents, and going sledding are traditions we hope to pass down to our children.

Richard grew up in the Jewish religion with his parents and younger brother. His brother has two children under three years old, so our children will grow up with cousins close in age. Our children will have the opportunity to grow up learning two faiths and have the ability to decide what traditions they want to pass on themselves.

Our families are very close to this day. We often have large family gatherings when all of our cousins and second cousins get together. Our families have grown very large and diverse, and we are excited to share this with the children in our care. Our extended family is also made up of those who have been adopted and who have also placed their children into adoptive care.

Our Adoption Story

We have always envisioned one day raising children of our own. We are hopeful to grow our family and surround a child with two fathers and a brother who will love them endlessly. We have been together for over eleven years and have built a solid foundation filled with love. Having spent time with our nieces and nephews, we began our conversation about embarking on our own journey of fatherhood. We had the blessing of adopting our first son and wish to continue down this path to grow our family. We intend to share our children’s unique journeys while celebrating their individual cultures and backgrounds. We live in a diverse community, and we want the opportunity to provide our children with a plethora of new cultural and educational experiences.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
