dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little better. We cannot imagine the difficult decision before you and the many emotions you must be feeling. We commit to praying for you and your baby and trust God to care for you and your baby no matter your decision. As we have seen the love for adopted members of our families exemplified as well as their love toward us, we also desire to show our love through adoption.
We will love this child with all our hearts and strength with God’s help all along the way. We are thankful for you, your courage, and your love for your child. We are proud of you for considering options that reflect dignity and value. While waiting has not been easy, it has provided us with opportunities to learn more about adoption, to heal from our pain of infertility, and to prepare to love another child with humility, wisdom, gentleness, and grace.
Peace to you,
Adam and Reba

About Us
Hello! We’re Adam and Reba, and we’re excited to meet you! Adam is the quiet one, with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. Reba is the outgoing one, with a heart for hospitality and a ready smile (and laughs for Adam’s jokes). Adam loves the outdoors and building or fixing things; Reba loves to cook and experiment with new recipes. We enjoy inviting people over for meals, bonfires, and social time. We both enjoy history and watching documentaries and the occasional sci-fi show. Reading is a big part of our lives, and we read to our daughter, Joanna, every day. Joanna is currently five years old and very energetic. She is very excited about the possibility of having a little brother or sister. Adam works as a team lead for a mapping company, and Reba is a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. We are blessed to be part of a local church and weekly rhythm of learning to worship God in community. As a family, we enjoy playing games, going on walks, riding bikes, eating out, and watching movies together.
Our Home
We live in a very family-oriented neighborhood with lots of families with young children. It is a low-density, safe, and beautiful place to live. Each day we see many of our neighbors taking walks or walking their dogs. Nearby are several parks/gardens/trails, a farm with animals, lots of food options, and a downtown metropolitan area with lots of attractions. Our home is a 1.5-story brick home with three bedrooms, two baths, and an additional mother-in-law suite (where Reba’s mom lives); she has her own entry and a brand new kitchen. The backyard has two large shade trees, pretty landscaping, a grapevine arbor, a large shaded patio, a basketball hoop, and a garden.
Our Extended Family
Reba’s mom lives with us. She is a retired English teacher and enjoys taking care of our daughter if we go on a date or have an event. Reba’s extended family lives out of state, and we fly out to visit them once every two years on average. She has one sister and several cousins she grew up with. We especially enjoy visiting her extended family, usually at Christmastime. Reba also has three adopted siblings out of state whom she remains in contact with as well, making occasional road trips to see them.
Adam’s extended family all live within a 45-minute radius of our home. He has four brothers, one sister, and multiple step-siblings. In addition to gathering for holidays and birthdays, we also get together with Adam’s mom’s family for camping trips around the state. Adam’s dad lives in the country on five acres, and we enjoy getting together with him periodically at one of our favorite restaurants for birthday and holiday celebrations. Adam is the legal guardian for one of his brothers, who is developmentally disabled, and visits him at least monthly.
What Led Us To Adoption
After a few years of trying to have biological children, we decided to pursue IVF. After two rounds, we had our daughter, Joanna. Desiring to have more children and not wanting to go through the process of IVF again, we started to consider adoption. We realized it was the way we wanted to grow our family and that it had already been an important piece of our lives. Adam has a stepfather and two cousins who were adopted, and Reba has three adopted siblings who became part of her family later in life. We cherish our relationships with them as well as the possibility of adopting a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
