dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are so honored you would even consider us as a family for your baby. We would consider it such a blessing and would love the opportunity to share our lives with your baby. We have so many of our favorite things that would be a joy to have your baby be a part of. We have a membership to the children's museum, take art lessons and buy art kits from a local studio, and love music (so music lessons are certainly on the agenda). We would love to pass down the recipes for our family dishes and share our baking traditions with your baby. It has always been a tradition to make cinnamon rolls when it snows. That started with Rachel's grandma and has continued when she learned how to make them. Holidays are a BIG deal at our house. We would love to make new memories with your baby.
We are amazed at the courage, strength, and love you have. One of the reasons we chose this route to grow our family is for that very reason. We knew we would be able to tell your baby about how selfless and amazing their biological mother is. We believe sharing with them about what an incredible plan their biological mother made will give them confidence and pride in who they are. We want you to know we have been praying for you and your baby.
Thinking the best for you,
Jonathan & Rachel

About Us
We grew up halfway across the country from one another. However, we both have always been passionate about reaching out to others and felt like we would do something ministry related. We attended the same Bible college, and that is where we met. After dating for 3 years, we got married in 2011. Since then, we have worked in youth ministry and now pastor a small church. Jonathan also works as the general manager at a window factory. Rachel stays home with our young sons. We both love board games. Jonathan likes a good strategy game, while Rachel prefers something fun and fast paced. We both enjoy bike rides or taking our family (including our dogs) on walks through the neighborhood. One of our favorite things to do is check out new restaurants or find a great place to get a dessert. We think that we have successfully tried every donut shop in town.
Our Home
We live in a 4 bedroom house in a small town in the suburbs. Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We love taking walks to the pond with our dogs Bailey and Snickers, and biking around the circle. In warm weather, we like to walk or bike to Sonic for a milkshake. Our home has an open living room and kitchen. We love this for having friends and family over and for baking treats. Downstairs we have a game and toy room. We love family crafts and game night. We would love for your baby to join us in our trips to the park and for storytime at our local library. We also love the puppet shows there.
Our Extended Family
Rachel is the middle child. She has one older brother and a younger sister. Rachel’s parents live just a few hours away, and we love going to spend the weekend there. We enjoy swimming in their pool and our Saturday morning ritual of choosing our favorite donuts at the local donut shop. Rachel's brother lives behind her parents and loves to get their boys together with ours. Every spring we take a trip down south to see her sister's family and visit the beach!
Jonathan is the oldest with four younger sisters. His parents live a little farther away, but we like to meet up with them for family holidays and family vacations. We often share a big cabin in the mountains with his parents and his married sisters’ families. Our little nieces from Jonathan's side love to have living room sleepovers with our boys every Christmas Eve, and we are excited that his second sister is adding a new baby boy to the mix this year. We both have grandparents we also like to visit. They love spoiling the kids with candy!
When we talk about our family, we can’t leave out our church family. We have friends from church who might as well be called family. We meet up to go fishing, go to the park, or just to hang out at each other’s houses. If we ever need anything, we know we can call each other over to help.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have some friends who have adopted, and their girls are some of our favorite little people. Rachel’s uncle is also adopted, so she has always been around it and seen it as an option for growing a family. We have always loved how adoption creates family bonds that grow beyond just sharing DNA. Adoption is a beautiful blend of lives, love, and diversity. Adoption has always been something we have talked about. We just knew it was going to be a part of our story. We feel adoption is a wonderful representation of how God loves us as His children. We believe in unconditional love, and we would love to grow our family by loving your child!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
