dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We believe considering an adoption plan is the greatest act of love and selflessness a mother can do, and it takes incredible courage and strength. It takes such bravery to make a difficult decision, and we have such respect and admiration for you. Please know you and your baby would be cherished and deeply loved by us. Our daughter is adopted, and we’re eternally grateful to her mom and dad. She is our world, and we hope to extend our love to your baby as well.

About Us
We both have pretty outgoing personalities and a large group of friends. Many of our friends have young kids, making spending time together fun. We are thankful to work from home and are able to spend lots of time with our daughter, Addison. Every day we take her to the local playground, on bike rides, or to various park district activities. Pauline still likes to get out and run, while Dan ends up on the golf course in his free time. We take a few family vacations throughout the year, usually to at least one tropical location as we like the beach and sunshine.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the suburbs of Chicago with our daughter, Addison, and two dogs. We are close to playgrounds and a new community pool, and we can walk to the elementary, middle, and high schools. Our house is in a cul-de-sac, and we’re lucky to have nice neighbors. Our neighborhood does an annual Easter egg hunt spanning three yards and around 50 kids. It’s a very family-friendly area with parks, bike trails, and nature preserves as well as restaurants and kids activities. Addison especially loves the Urban Air Adventure. She loves babies, and her teacher describes her as nurturing. She’s excited to be a big sister!
Our Extended Family
Dan has a brother and mom (his dad passed a few years ago), an aunt, and an uncle. The family all lives nearby. We regularly get together for birthdays, family dinners, and holidays. Pauline’s parents and aunt live nearby too. Both sides of the family get along, and usually everyone is together. Pauline has a brother as well. He is married and has two daughters who live in Colorado. We visit each other regularly, so all the kids are close. Pauline also has extended family in Canada and California. We visit each other often enough to remain close.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
