About Us
Hi there! We are Morgan and Jake, and we are a very go-with-the-flow couple with lots of love to give. Our careers as a toddler daycare teacher and pharmacist allow us to be flexible and patient people. We enjoy playing cards or games, exploring new states and cities, and spending quality time with our family and friends nearly every weekend. Jake enjoys cooking beautiful meals and golfing, while Morgan likes to read and check out thrift stores. We love tending to our yard and house plants, watching football on Sundays, and playing with our cats. We look forward to getting more house projects done and taking our new kayaks out on the river. Our loved ones would describe us as compassionate and loyal people who enjoy all the little things life has to offer.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful, historic home in the city. Our home was built in 1875 and has been completely updated and finished with modern luxuries. We are blessed to live in the historic district surrounded by parks, restaurants, markets, and many studios and creative spaces. In addition to all the walkable amenities, we have a large, fenced-in yard as we own the lot next to our home as well. We are probably the only people in the city who have such a big yard where we have a deck and room for a play set or sandbox or anything else we can imagine. We have four cats. Their names are Bennie, Rocco, Gigi, and Dolly. There is plenty of room for everyone in our spacious three-bedroom home.
Our Extended Family
We have an incredible network of friends and family. Morgan has a set of loving parents and a sister and brother-in-law who recently got married. In addition, Morgan's extended family is made up of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who all mostly hail from the same city. Jake’s caring parents reside in North Carolina, and we talk frequently. Jake is an only child with a small family, but he still occasionally visits his aunt and uncle who are just a couple hours away.
Our families take special trips, spend many holidays together, and see each other quite often. We enjoy playing cards and board games, watching different sporting events, and spending time outside around the fire or in the pool. We spend lots of quality time together, and we are very close.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption is something we always wanted to do together. We believe we were meant to take this journey to be parents. Having strong and loving families made this an easy decision as we wish to share with a child this beautiful and welcoming environment. The supportive village waiting for our future baby is like none other. Morgan’s aunt is a family lawyer, and it has given her the opportunity to know and appreciate the beauty of the adoption process.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
