dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are so excited for this opportunity to get to know you and the sweet baby you are carrying! We appreciate the precaution and care you are taking to take care of this precious gift. We understand it is not an easy decision to give this gift, but we are so appreciative of the opportunity to care for, love, and bring up this child if you choose us.
We have learned so much about adoption through this process, and we are so excited to be on this journey, especially since we get to take it with our two boys. They are both so excited to have another sibling! Our families are also overjoyed for another child to be joining the family. We have recently lost Mike’s father, who was extremely proud of all his grandchildren and was so excited to be bringing in another. This baby will be so loved, probably even smothered with all the love we have to give.
Again, we want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us and consider us to bring home this precious gift you are carrying. Thank you for taking care of this child and giving them all the love they need. You are an amazing person, and we thank you for all you are doing.
Thank you!
Mike & Nessa
About Us
We both grew up in the same small Iowa community, and now we are raising our two boys in Mike’s family farm home. Mike is self-employed with his construction company of five years, and Nessa is a special education teacher in the same school where she grew up, for the past eight years. We are both very family oriented and enjoy doing stuff as a family. We enjoy going to our community golf course every Friday night to eat, and in the summer, we enjoy going golfing in the evenings as a family. We also enjoy going to our boys’ sporting events and watching them do the things they love. We like to play games with the kids, especially Uno, and just watch them grow and figure out new things.
Our Home & Pets
We have a dog named Blue. He is a farm dog and plays with our boys very well. He does well letting us know when people drive on our yard. We live on an acreage, roughly five acres, with many areas for our children to ride bikes, play, and get dirty like kids do. We also have a swing set with slides, swings, and a sandbox underneath. We have a merry-go-round as well. We have a two-story house that has four bedrooms and two full baths. We have a large living room connected to our kitchen.
Our Extended Family
Mike has two brothers who are married and both have children. Mike has many cousins on both sides of his family, twelve on each side, who also have children, which makes for very fun times at family gatherings. We get together on all holidays, along with hay rides in the fall and various vacations.
Nessa has an older brother and younger sister. Her brother is married with two kids, and her sister is single but loves hanging with the family. Nessa’s dad and mom have been married for 42 years and love their kids and grandkids. We enjoy going to Indiana to see Nessa’s grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. On her dad’s side, she has many cousins who have multiple kids, which makes it so fun to see all the kids running around. We enjoy taking annual family vacations and are together on holidays and sometimes Sunday afternoons.
We enjoy spending time together with our immediate families as well as our extended families.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are so excited about this opportunity! We hadn’t really talked much about adoption until after having our two boys. Nessa had some hormone testing done, and it seems like we were very lucky to have the two boys we have! Nessa also had a horrible postpartum recovery dealing with postpartum anxiety. So after our second child, we decided it was best for Nessa’s mental and physical health to adopt our third child. We wanted to wait until our boys were in school, and now that we are at that point, it is so fun to see how excited they are to have a little sibling!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
