dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like to thank you for reading our story and for considering including us as your own story unfolds. We will never be able to understand what you are going through, but we believe the deepest hardships can encourage the most beautiful connections to blossom and grow. Your love for your baby will forever be part of who they are and their understanding of what it means to be loved, no matter what you decide. If you consider making an adoption plan, we hope to be part of the journey and will do everything in our power to ensure they have a life you will be proud of, including as much openness as you are comfortable with.
Your child will be immediately surrounded by love and support from our entire family and friends. They will always be with us in every adventure as we bring them to build memories at national parks, theme parks, historic sites, museums, and anywhere else that may be uniquely inspiring to them and their curiosities. They will be encouraged to pursue any hobby or interest, from sports to arts and games, and given every opportunity to explore whatever may spark joy. They will always have unconditional love from us as we continually celebrate their origin story through it all. We believe in enriching routines, which will include meals together, bedtime stories every night, and handmaking gifts and cards for special occasions.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your baby during this time. We sincerely admire your courage and hope you will consider including us in your plans for the future.
About Us
Hello from Connecticut! We are Michelle and Josh, and we love walking with our dogs, spending time in nature, building up our own little fire pit/pizza oven/picnic area oasis to share with family and friends in the backyard, and going on mini-vacations around the state and beyond. We met at work, and Michelle knew right away that Josh was "the one." We have been each other's best friend for over 14 years and married for nearly seven. What we do, we always do together, whether that's just the two of us or with friends and family (dogs included!). We enjoy painting, concerts, board games, and even bonsai workshops. We are both nerds at heart and are equally happy to spend a weekend at home playing video games or watching our favorite movies.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with many young families that wave and say hello. We have rescued three dogs (Koda, Ducky, and Tip) since moving in and love them very much. We have a fenced-in backyard with a fire pit, pizza oven, and garden. The neighborhood is next to a preserve where wildlife and hiking are abundant. A local lake hosts music festivals in the summer and other events year round, and one of the few remaining drive-in movie theaters in Connecticut is also nearby. Downtown has a children's science museum, a performing arts theater, and a rich community vibe. We are reasonably close to the zoo or aquarium in Connecticut as well as to Boston or New York. Weekend trips up to Vermont are also likely to happen in any season!
Our Extended Family
We are extremely blessed to have so much of our “village” close by. Michelle’s parents are less than ten minutes away, and Josh’s parents and sister (with nieces and nephews) are within 30 minutes. Our support network has always been vast between our aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, and “bonus parents” on both sides in the form of step-parents.
Family reunions in Pittsburgh with the clan there or to Montana are always a highlight. There are many young cousins all within easy travel distance who would grow up with our future children and so many fun traditions to become a part of and memories to make. Holidays are especially important to us and always spent with family, often with our extended families all coming together. Family vacations are an annual occurrence as are frequent “make your own pizza” parties in the backyard through the summer and fall.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are unable to conceive a baby of our own, which has never lessened our desire to be parents. While we had looked into surrogacy previously as a potential option, talking with people that either were adopted or have adopted led us to realize this is the perfect path for us and our vision of our family's future. We have an overabundance of love to share and want to be able to play a part in raising the next generation. As we’ve continued to build our home and our lifestyle, it's been with little ones in mind to round out our family, and we fully believe this next step in the journey is the one meant for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
