About Us
Our serendipitous love story began at work in 2009. Meghan trained at Tyler’s office, and we each knew we had found our best friend and soulmate. We married in 2011, excited for our shared dream for the future. Tyler works as a lab technician, crafting eyeglasses for patients. Meghan works as a campus and branding programs coordinator, helping to connect people with careers. Our free time is all about the simple things! We love spending quality time together at home or running errands, playing with our dog Sam, or taking fun trips, both as a couple and with our extended families. We laugh, have movie nights, and cheer on our favorite sports team year-round. Meghan enjoys reading, walks around the neighborhood, learning new subjects, baking, and savoring moments with friends and family. Tyler enjoys video games, listening to podcasts, an occasional round of golf, good music, and projects around our home.
Our Home & Pets
We’ve planted our roots in a suburban neighborhood in North Carolina. We’re lucky to have amazing neighbors we’re close with. We enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood, letting Sam play with his puppy friends and neighborhood kids, watching puppy parades, and having fun at family friendly block parties and cookouts. With a fenced yard, our home has a perfect blend of privacy and natural beauty, backing up to trees and a cow farm beyond. It's so fun to see Sam perk up when he hears one mooing. We're close to our local park, dog park, library, schools, and our favorite local donut shop for weekend breakfast goodies. Being almost centered in the state, it’s only a few hours to the mountains or the beach for long weekends, and just 15 miles from museums and downtown.
Our Extended Family
We are incredibly fortunate to have all our immediate family members in the same state, making it easy to spend quality time together. Meghan's brother is the closest, only 15 miles away, surrounded by his wife and their blended family of three girls and two boys. Tyler's brother lives on the NC coast with his wife and their son, making for wonderful long weekend get-togethers, which include Tyler’s parents, who also live near the coast. We enjoy relaxing at the house, eating delicious food, listening to waves, and dipping our toes in the ocean.
Meghan’s parents live about 50 miles away, and we're able to visit with them often for hours-long conversations, silly movie quote-athons, and watching all the wildlife in the backyard. We also have them come over to our house, where they love to spoil their grand-dog, Sam. We’ve started to alternate hosting for holidays, which is a fun new tradition. We can’t wait to start more with all the cousins! We also love to take big family trips to Disney World and Myrtle Beach with Meghan’s family, creating unforgettable memories!
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always held a special place in our hearts, even before considering the possibility of biological children. For us, family is defined by love, not just DNA. Starting a family has always been a dream for us, but like many couples, we faced challenges in doing so naturally. We are genuinely excited about the prospect of raising a child to be a kind, compassionate person, and they will know how much they are loved by more than just us from the very beginning. Adoption has touched our lives through so many friends and family members’ experiences of being adopted or having adopted members of their families, and we know this is the right path to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
