dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to start by thanking you for taking the time to hear our story and for considering giving us the opportunity to provide a safe and loving home for your child. We know this is a very important decision and can only imagine how difficult this is for you. We hope you’re getting the love and support you deserve.
There is so much we can tell you about ourselves. The biggest thing we want you to know is that your child, should you choose us, will be provided with unconditional love, support, and safety. Your child will also know how much you love them and where they came from.
We are beyond excited to extend our family and are happy to be on this journey with you. We hope our story helps make your decision a little easier. We want you to always remember that you’re a very strong and courageous woman.
Love,
Dan, Leslie & Emma
About Us
Leslie is an HR analyst, while Dan is a Senior Director of Manufacturing. We were both raised in Wisconsin in small towns, where everyone knows each other. We met through mutual friends at a social gathering and have been together for over ten years. We adopted our daughter, Emma in 2021. We enjoy cooking, spending time with family and friends, seeing the latest movie, going on adventures, spending time outside, and traveling. We are a committed and compassionate couple. Communication, respect, love, and trust are valuable in a family, and that is what we will teach and share with our children throughout our lives together. We always strive to do better in our lives, whether it is in our personal relationship, our friendship, or our careers. We try to find the best in everything that life has in store for us.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, three-bathroom 2 story home on 4 acres in Wisconsin. We have a nice big backyard that is perfect for sledding in the winter. In the summer months we see a lot of wildlife. We have deer in our backyard every day. We have a fire pit and love to have friends and family over for fires. We are close to local restaurants, parks and schools. We enjoy taking walks or riding our bikes on the trails. If you can’t find us at home, we’re spending time with family or friends or enjoying what our community has to offer. We also have one cat, Griffey. He is family to us.
Our Extended Family
We are close with both of our families. We see them every year at Christmas and have them over for Thanksgiving. Our families are very excited and supportive of our adoption plans. Family is very important to us, and we want to incorporate them in our lives as much as possible. We take trips together, spend holidays together, and go to each other’s houses for dinner on a regular basis.
Leslie has an older sister and a younger brother. She is very close with her siblings and parents. Leslie has a very large extended family. She has over 30 first cousins and over 30 second cousins who all live within 20 miles of them.
Dan’s stepbrother lives in Iowa, and his sister lives in Maryland with her husband and their three children. His father and stepmother still live in the town where Dan was raised, and his mom lives in Minnesota. Dan also has extended family members in Michigan. We visit and talk to them as often as we can.
What Led Us To Adoption
Having children is something we have always wanted. After years of trying and going through multiple infertility treatments, we found our chosen path of adoption. We are very excited to continue growing our family. We look forward to giving a child a fun-loving, supportive, and safe environment that provides them with endless opportunities. We love experiencing all the joys and rewards of raising a child, and adoption gives us that opportunity. We're full of love and ready to share our love with a new baby! We're so grateful you are considering us for the opportunity to raise a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
