dear expectant mother
We’re incredibly grateful for you—for who you are and for how deeply and selflessly you love your child. We admire and appreciate your courage and strength as you consider an adoption plan and face these complex emotions and decisions. We’re so grateful you’re considering us as the family for your baby.
Your child joining our family would be such a gift to us. We would make sure they know how deep and wide your love for them is, and you would always be part of their life story. We want them to feel love from all sides—from you, from us, and from our families and friends, who are all so eager to welcome them. They would grow up in a close-knit community with positive role models and a strong sense of belonging.
We will help your child to face challenges with excitement and confidence, to be brave when life is hard, to find the best in people, to grow their faith in God, and to love exploring and learning. We can’t wait to enjoy big holidays and the little moments of life together. We look forward to lots of family meals, playing in waterfalls, making forts out of blankets, traveling to new places, and snuggling up for storytime every night.
We know you have big decisions ahead as you plan the best possible life for your baby, and our hearts are with you on that journey. Your love will help you find the right path.
About Us
We met on the first day of college and have been best friends and teammates ever since. Adam wakes up every morning excited for the day, and he loves tackling challenges with his team at the company he co-founded. Kearah teaches high schoolers who struggle with reading. She loves joking with them, mentoring them, and seeing their pride when they grow. We spend a lot of time in nature, hiking, biking, rock climbing, and running. In the evenings, we relax with good meals, board games, learning guitar, and snuggling up to watch movies. We also love learning, so we read a lot, listen to podcasts, and talk about new ideas and how God is growing us in our lives. Our best adventure yet was becoming parents. It has brought a whole new level of joy to our lives, and we feel very blessed to have our family, friends, and church community.
Our Home
We love our home! It has three bedrooms, a lot of sunny windows, and plenty of family space. It’s on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors, and the big backyard is perfect for playing. We love eating out on our patio and having fires in our firepit. Just a few minutes away are a new park with an amazing playground, a paved biking trail, the elementary school, a great library, and our favorite restaurant. Many friends with children live nearby, so we see them regularly. The Appalachian Mountains are close too, so there are endless hiking trails, waterfalls, and lakes to explore. There is also a city nearby with amazing museums, great restaurants, and lots of fun festivals.
Our Extended Family
Our families are so important to us, and we’re grateful for all the love and fun they bring us. Our parents are amazing models of strong marriages and good parenting, and we’re close to our five siblings, five nieces and nephews, and lots of extended family. We love how diverse our families are. Not only do we have biological and adopted family and a mix of races but our personalities and paths in life are all unique.
Our families live in different states, but we get together regularly and even more often now that we have a daughter whom they adore and who loves spending time with them. In the summers, we especially love visiting Kearah’s family’s lake cottage. We barbecue, kayak, waterski, and have big Fourth of July parties that end with a beach bonfire, s’mores, and fireworks. Christmas is our favorite holiday with Adam’s family. It includes matching pajamas, a big Christmas Eve dinner, decorating cookies, and a silly gift exchange with his extended family.
Our church and neighbors are another family to us. We support each other through all the ups and downs of life, and we have Bible studies, potluck dinners, game nights, and group hikes together.
Our Adoption Story
We have always been interested in adoption because we have lots of adopted relatives, including two of Kearah’s siblings and cousins on both sides. We’ve seen how multiracial families and adoption can add richness, love, and laughter to families. We also struggled with infertility and the loss of our biological daughter at one month old from a rare genetic disorder. After taking time to heal, we started the adoption process, and we are incredibly grateful to have been chosen to adopt our daughter in 2022. She brings us endless joy and is adored by our friends and family. We are so excited to be parents again and also want to give our daughter the joy of growing up with a sibling.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
