dear expectant mother
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to get to know us. It is with gratitude and appreciation that we write to you. We are sure you are feeling many emotions at once, and we may never be able to understand what you are experiencing in this moment. Take a deep breath and know that whatever decision you make will be the right one for you and your baby. We want to express how much respect we have for you for making a decision of such magnitude.
Should you choose us, your baby will be cherished, safe, and loved unconditionally and will have a life of opportunity. As they grow, we will strive every day to help them understand who they are and where they came from. We will think of you and be grateful for your act of love every day forward and make sure your baby knows we are able to love them because you loved them first. We hope you find peace in your decision. It would be an honor of a lifetime if you chose us.
All our love,
Kari and Matt

About Us
Our story began eleven years ago. It was the day after Christmas when we met through Kari’s long-time best friend. We got married in the spring of 2016. We are both down to earth, affectionate, and open minded. Kari is driven, passionate, and a nurturer. As a certified child life specialist, she cares for hospitalized children and promotes positive coping during one of the hardest times of their lives. Matt is optimistic, the fun uncle, creative, and a critical thinker who excels as a software engineer. Matt’s career gives him flexibility to work from home two days a week. Kari will transition to a stay-at-home mom when we are blessed to grow our family. We have given this a lot of thought and believe it to be the best for a child’s development. We love being active, outdoors, and with family. We are the perfect combination of homebodies and adventurous. We dream of finding our perfect country home, where we will raise our children and start a Christmas tree farm.
Our Home & Pets
We have lived in our home for seven years while we wait to build our perfect forever home. We have loved this space. Our home is in a very safe neighborhood with sidewalks that lead to miles of bicycle trails. We live in a very active community with a tight-knit biking and running culture. The neighborhood kids love our dog, Poe, and never hesitate to come say hi. Our cat, Ira, watches from the window with jealousy. One of our favorite things about our home is that it is surrounded by quiet farmland and a nearby pumpkin farm yet is just minutes away from parks, a major city, and our extended family. Our home is located in one of the best school districts in the state.
Our Extended Family
We value spending time with our families above anything else and see them as our best friends. Both of our parents live within 30 minutes of us. Matt and his twin sister are the oldest of five, with three younger sisters. All of Matt’s siblings work in healthcare and are a wealth of knowledge. Kari is the middle child of five. She has an older brother, an older sister, and two younger brothers. Three out of four of Kari’s siblings are adopted as well as Kari.
We have one niece and two nephews we love to spend time with. We enjoy taking them to special events as well as playing around the house. They are always the highlight of every occasion, and our family is very excited to add to the bunch!
We see our family at least once every week, usually meeting up to go to dinner, play pickleball, or just visit. During football season, it is tradition that we gather with Matt’s family every weekend to eat together and watch the Packers play (and hopefully win). We also look forward to going on an extended family vacation every year to visit somewhere new!
What Led Us To Adoption
Our hearts are filled with the desire to adopt. Kari and her siblings were adopted, and Matt has family who have been blessed with adoption.. This has given us a unique and positive perspective on the emotions and needs surrounding adoption. We understand the importance of the connection between a child and birthmother, if this is what the birthmother desires. Kari has a healthy relationship with both her birth family and adoptive family. We have created a life we are proud of and have dreamed of pouring our hearts into a child for many years. We truly believe there is a baby who will fit right into our family. We feel we are one step closer to our dreams coming true, and we have never looked forward to anything more than we look forward to being parents!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
