We want to express our thanks and gratitude to you for learning a little about us. We can’t imagine what you’re going through or how you’re feeling in these moments. If we are so blessed that you choose our family as the home for your child, we will be overjoyed to love, nurture, and raise your child. We will strive to raise them to be compassionate, caring, independent, and resilient, and we will encourage and support their drive and passion to be whatever they want to in life. We are the type of family that is affectionate, gives hugs, and keeps each other close. We will give positive reinforcement and encourage an atmosphere of support for the learning and emotional development of your child.
We will support a strong education and any extracurricular activities your child would like to do. We want to shower them with love every day. Our families will make them feel extremely special and loved. We are in a financial position where we live in a nice home in a nice neighborhood, and a child would lack for nothing.
We wholeheartedly thank you for giving us this opportunity to share some details about ourselves and look forward to getting to know more about you! We are here to listen to, support, and encourage you as much as possible. We are more than eager to hear from you!
About Us
Luis is a network security engineer for federal integrators, and Heather is a realtor here in Virginia. Heather graduated with a BS in hospitality and management, and Luis graduated with an MS in cyber security. We have made our home to be a place full of love and laughter and have established a compassionate and caring place for our family to grow. Heather is our resident comedian, who is always full of laughter and fun in whatever situation she is in; she’s definitely funnier than Luis! We like to cook, paint, do projects, be creative, and get outdoors as much as possible, especially going to the beach. We would love to share these times as a family with a little one of our own.
Our Home
Our four-bedroom home is situated in a quiet neighborhood with many lush green parks and shops nearby that provide multiple venues that are family friendly. We have family and friends who visit from time to time and are not very far away. The local schools rank very high on national education lists and are minutes from our home. Our home is full of love, and adding the joyful noise of another child’s laughter is all that is missing. We hope to have our home and a life filled with laughter, fun, and love with a future child.
Our Extended Family
Luis comes from a large family near Ohio, and he is the youngest of four children. We travel to Ohio for holidays and special occasions from time to time and especially like the Puerto Rican food prepared by Luis’s mom for the holidays and pretty much whenever we come to visit.
Heather’s family hails from Illinois, where both her mom and dad originated from. We spend summers at Heather’s mom’s lakehouse and especially enjoy taking hikes around her 30 acres full of scenic views or sitting next to a beautiful lake on the dock with family and friends.
Our Adoption Story
We were led to adoption after careful thought over a period of three years when we learned we cannot have biological children, even after multiple rounds of fertility treatments. God has led us to another beautiful journey of becoming parents and starting our family through the blessing of adoption. We have been planning and dreaming of building our family for some time now and have wholeheartedly decided adoption was always meant for us. Our hearts desire nothing more than to provide a loving home and hopeful future for a child or children. We were blessed to be able to adopt in 2023 and add a new addition to our family (Marsellis), and we are loving every second of it! It would be amazing to love another child and for them to be able to be siblings to each other!

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
