About Us
Hello! We are Blake and Emily! Our story began in 2015 when we were introduced by mutual friends. Within three months of dating, we knew we had found something special, and we were engaged. We were married on New Year's Eve, surrounded by all our friends and family. Blake is a farmer and works with his dad on the family farm. We are incredibly lucky as Blake is able to set his own schedule. Emily is a CPA and works as the business manager of an educational agency that supports local school districts. Blake is the jokester, always providing entertainment with his humor, singing, or dancing! Emily is the go-getter of the family, always setting new goals for us. We love spending time with family and friends. You can often find us playing board games in the winter, at the golf course in the summer, or traveling the globe! We love dessert and never say no to a Dairy Queen Blizzard!
Our Home
We live in a rural city. There are multiple school districts in our city and in the surrounding small towns. Our home is a ranch-style house in a peaceful neighborhood. The heart of our home is our spacious living room, where we spend hours playing games. We have an awesome pool that is securely gated and locked for added safety. It will be perfect for teaching future little ones to swim! During the summer, our friends and families often gather at our place to swim. We're also fortunate to have a park just seconds away from our house, making outdoor adventures very accessible. While we currently enjoy the conveniences that come with living in town, we one day hope to move to Blake’s family farm. The farm is just a short 15-minute drive away.
Our Extended Family
Our families are a big part of our lives. Both our immediate families live nearby, and we spend a lot of time with them. We are lucky we are able to gather for all birthdays and holidays! We each have one sister. Both of our sisters have their own families with little ones who eagerly await new playmates.
We are very close with Emily’s parents. We often travel with them, and we have enjoyed taking them to see the world with us! Emily’s sister and her little boy live just a couple streets over. They frequently come over for playdates and meals.
Blake’s family is also incredibly close, with a group of aunts, uncles, grandparents, parents, and his sister all living within a four-mile radius of each other. His first cousins are essentially siblings, having grown up side by side and sharing all sorts of adventures. Because they're all so close, we're always getting together. Now that tradition is continuing with the next generation, and we can’t wait to see our children join! Blake’s parents have a home in Arizona, and we often take family trips down there in the winter.
What Led Us To Adoption
From the very start of our relationship, adoption has been a part of our family vision. When we decided it was time to grow our family, we discovered infertility challenges that made conceiving naturally unlikely. Deciding not to pursue fertility options, we wholeheartedly embraced adoption as the route for us to build the loving family we've always dreamed of. This journey feels deeply personal to us as Blake’s mom and some of her siblings were placed in foster care or adopted as children, significantly shaping our perspective on adoption. Family is about more than biology; family is about unconditional love. We are excited to share our love with our children, biological or adopted!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
