dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
The decision ahead of you is not one that is easy to make, and we understand the immense courage and strength it takes to consider such a path. Zach’s mom faced the same choice you are contemplating now. She decided to proceed with a closed adoption and gifted her son to another family. Zach learned from an early age the heartache that accompanies this choice. At that time, closed adoptions were common, and for the longest time, we only knew of a faceless person who grew up a world away. In 2007 his mother found his half-brother and discovered the joy and beauty that can emerge from this difficult decision. This reunion brought profound happiness and healing to their lives.
We feel blessed to be in a position to give back to the universe by offering love, shelter, and a family to a child we cannot give birth to. We hope to provide a nurturing and loving environment where your child can thrive and grow. Your selfless decision is a testament to your love and care, and we promise to honor and cherish your gift every day.
Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. We are committed to creating a home filled with love, support, fun, laughter, and opportunities for a bright future. Your bravery and compassion are deeply admired, and we are eternally grateful for the chance to be a part of your child's life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Dawn and Zach

About Us
Hi, and welcome to our profile. We met when we were in high school and have been together for almost 25 years and married for 15 years. We love to be playful and don’t take ourselves too seriously; we’re mostly known in our circles for our playful banter back and forth. We are self-professed nerds! We love to build LEGOs together as well as play DnD. When the summer is upon us, we LOVE to go to baseball games. Volunteering is important to us, and we also partake in events and walks for charities close to our hearts. Zach is an IT senior manager, and Dawn works part-time as a store manager for a local toy store. We like to divide up house chores, love to spend time with our pets, and absolutely cherish spending time with our families and friends.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a two-bedroom house with our dog, Spengler, and our two cats, Stantz and Venkman. The dog and cats are very playful and love to be loved on. Spengler has spent a lot of time with our nieces and nephews, and he behaves very well and just wants cuddles. We live within walking distance of our small downtown and many parks, and we are within minutes from most of our friends and families. We live close to public transportation that allows us to travel to major cities very easily for events and quick day trips. We have a big backyard that is great for fun family gatherings and events.
Our Extended Family
Dawn has two sisters, and we live within a mile of one and 15 minutes from the other. We get together often for holidays, birthdays, milestones, and other events, often playing games and laughing endlessly. Dawn’s family traditions include getting together for Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and the Fourth of July for our local parade. The most fun tradition her family has is their annual “Stupid Scary Movie” night for Halloween, where they watch a “scary” movie that is more laughs than screams.
Zach’s brother and parents are within 15 minutes of our house, and we enjoy frequent gatherings any day of the week. His sister lives a couple of hours away but visits the area often; when she is here, we make sure we get together for quality catch-up time. Big traditions in Zach’s family include an annual baseball game with his brother’s family, birthday celebrations for the kids, and Santa visits at his extended family’s Christmas party.
We have local friends we consider family, and we will get together to play games with their kids, play Dungeons and Dragons, have movie marathons, and take a family trip together about once a year.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been close to our hearts and in our family plan. Dawn has always wanted to adopt and has extended family who have been adopted into the family. Zach and his family have personally been touched by adoption as he has a half-brother who was placed for adoption many years ago. Due to medical reasons, Dawn cannot have children. We know we have more than enough love and fun to give, so we decided we would build our family around the gift that adoption can bring.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
