dear expectant mother
Dear Courageous Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and considering us to be the family for your baby. We cannot imagine how hard this decision must be for you. Your decision to make an adoption plan is brave and inspiring. You are considering a path that will provide your baby with alternative opportunities to succeed in whatever they aspire to do in life.
We know how important it is for children to know their own background and develop their sense of identity. We would love for your baby to stay connected to you and your family (if you choose). We will always talk to your baby about you and how much love you have for them.
We are filled with excitement, love, and hope for the future. We cannot wait to share your baby’s future with you. We will raise your baby with compassion, love, and respect. We will instill within your child kindness, self-worth, imagination, honesty, curiosity, and integrity. We will always have your child dream big, shoot for the stars, and recognize anything is possible. We have a large extended family that is beyond thrilled to meet your baby and give them a whole lot of love and support. We are grateful for you and this momentous decision you are making.

About Us
We are a family-driven, loving, loyal couple who have been together for eight years married for five.. We have grown stronger together as a couple through our challenges in life. We know together we can accomplish anything. Briana is a social work administrator in the mental health field. She has worked in the helping profession for over 20 years. Briana is authentic, unique, and dependable. She enjoys yoga, reading, exercise, walking outdoors, and live music. Chris is a quality control technician for a limestone mine. Chris is loyal, humorous, supportive, and strong and would do anything for anyone. Chris is the one everyone goes to for his problem-solving skills. Chris enjoys sports, cooking, barbecuing, and decorating for holidays. We both enjoy spending our free time with our families, specifically our nieces and nephews.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is in a suburban community in Illinois. Our community takes great pride in its residents, and we are part of an amazing school district. There are a lot of community activities and events throughout the year. There are tons of parks and recreational areas for children. We live within walking distance of several parks. We live in a house with four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. We have a large deck and yard where we host events and the nieces and nephews ride bikes. Our home also backs up to a large pond. We live under an hour from the majority of our extended family. We have two dogs, one older dog who enjoys being as lazy as possible and a golden retriever puppy who is always on the move.
Our Extended Family
Briana has a sister, her parents and many extended family members. Chris has two sisters, one brother, his father, and a large extended family as well. Together we have seven nieces and nephews ranging from 5 to 23 years old. Our nieces and nephews are so excited to add another cousin into their cousin crew.
Four years ago, we connected with Briana’s sister whom Briana’s mother placed for adoption at a young age. We have quickly created a very strong bond despite being apart for so many years. It was a blessing to have her re-enter our lives and has made us realize the beauty of adoption.
Our extended family is very close. We spend a lot of time together and host every holiday here at our home. We celebrate birthdays, Easter, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas together and lots of other impromptu get-togethers in between. Family is one of the most important values we share as a couple.
What Led Us To Adoption
We struggled with infertility for a few years and, after several miscarriages, recognized we were destined for a different path. We had discussed fostering versus adoption. Four years ago, we reconnected with Briana’s sister, who was placed for adoption by Briana’s mother. We have since learned about the beauty of her adoption story and how she was raised and loved by her adoptive parents. We have all become very close and blessed to have been given the chance to reconnect. We strive to be able to adopt a child and give them the same opportunities Briana’s sister was given by her adoptive parents.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
