dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We cannot imagine the feelings and heartache you are facing with this difficult decision, but please know we are praying for you and your baby through this entire process, whether it ends in you deciding to parent, you choosing a different family, or you choosing us.
If you bless us by making us your child’s parents, we promise to let your child find their passion and help them reach their full potential, whether they are like Kelin and love sports and camping or like Cara with a love for crafts and baking. We hope to take your baby camping, on trips to the mountains for snowboarding and hiking, and on trips to the beach and to see family.
We will respect you and your child’s culture, and we will do our best to make sure they grow up comfortable in their own skin. We promise to answer any questions they may have and have meaningful conversations so they grow up embracing their own identity. If you choose us, we promise to respect the level of openness and contact you wish to have with your child as we work together for what works for everyone. We will make sure your baby knows as much of you as you wish, and we will always tell them how much you love them.
About Us
We have different personalities that complement each other well. Cara is reserved but opens up once she gets to know you. She’s empathetic and likes to help others. Kelin is outgoing and can be friends with anyone. He’s always open to new adventures and trying new things. We have a one-year-old daughter, Adalynn, who is very social and loves reading, playing outside, and going to the zoo. Cara is a structural engineer, while Kelin is a project consultant for a low-voltage design company. Cara is a college basketball fan and always watches Duke or Kansas play. Kelin enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, snowboarding, and golfing. He’s a big football fan, whether it’s the NFL or college football. Our everyday activities during the week are not too exciting (working, cooking, and relaxing as a family), but during the weekends, we like to get out of the house and explore as a family.
Our Home & Pets
We bought a new townhouse in June 2021 in Colorado. We wanted to put down roots in the area, and buying a house was the first step for this stability. We live in a beautiful townhome in a small suburb. It is welcoming, diverse, and filled with other families playing or taking walks. We have a neighborhood park a block away, and they are building a new city park less than a half mile away. A large factor in picking this area was the school district, which is one of the best in the state. We have two dogs, a cockapoo and maltipoo. We live close enough to a big city to enjoy the activities but are still in a quiet suburb.
Our Extended Family
Cara is the fourth of five kids. She has one older sister, one older brother, one younger brother, and an older sister who passed away in 2013. She also has two nieces and four nephews. Cara and her oldest sister are very close and talk or FaceTime at least once a week. Although they live in different states, they have a group chat with her family that is very active. Each March they do a March Madness bracket, and each summer they try to take a vacation together.
Kelin has one sister and several cousins. Many of his cousins on his father’s side are scattered across the Southeast but gather together for holidays. Kelin grew up closer to many of his cousins on his mother’s side as they all lived in the same state. They would gather multiple times a year for holidays, summer vacations at the beach, yearly camping trips, and other special occasions.
With our daughter, we have continued our traditions of spending a week in the mountains with family, doing a family beach trip, having matching pajamas for Christmas Eve, and making monkey bread for Christmas morning. We are excited to continue the traditions with her siblings.
What Led Us To Adoption
During one of our first couple of dates, the topic of kids came up, and it was fate that both of us wanted to adopt. Kelin was adopted himself and saw how big of a difference that made in his life. Cara’s aunt was a foster parent who ended up adopting many of the children, so she grew up with a lot of adopted cousins. Seeing the positive effects of their adoption was something that stuck with Cara as she grew.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
