dear expectant mother
We are so grateful you are taking the time to read about us and hope you will consider us as adoptive parents for your baby. We realize this is a difficult and life-changing decision for you, and we admire your courage and strength. As a part of our family, your child will always know where they come from and the tremendous sacrifice you made out of love for them.
Our family has so much love to give, and we hope you can envision your baby as a part of our lives. We had very different upbringings and are excited to combine our traditions and experiences to raise well-rounded, kind-hearted children. From game nights with friends to summer stays at the family lake house and holidays surrounded by extended family, so much adventure and love await. Our support network is an amazing group of family and friends of all ages, including many strong role models and mentors. We look forward to nurturing our childrens’ goals and dreams by giving them the framework to succeed. Our backgrounds in education, the arts, and business will ensure your child is brought up in a supportive, diverse, and loving environment.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us, and we hope to have the opportunity to meet you and welcome you to our family one day.
About Us
We met at a show tunes theme night in 2014, and the rest is history! Our lakeside wedding ceremony in 2017 was full of friends, family, and lots of dancing. We adopted our daughter in May 2022, and she brings us joy every single day! We are committed to giving her the best life possible and are so excited for her to be a big sister. We’re grateful to have built such a beautiful life together surrounded by people we love. We are both involved in the arts and have been able to experience firsthand the many benefits that come from spending time in a theater. Ryan now works in corporate e-learning, and Caleb teaches choir and theater at a nearby high school. We love taking weekend trips to see our parents, taking family walks, playing pickleball, and going to the zoo.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a family-centric Illinois suburb, within walking distance of the elementary school. Our four-bedroom house is perfect for our family, with a fenced-in backyard and a playroom for the kids and all their toys. We are only five minutes from the zoo and can also walk to a nearby park with a playground and splash pad. Our dogs, Bailey and Cooper, are two of the cutest and most affectionate pups you’ll ever meet! Bailey is a Yorkie/Schnauzer mix who loves playing fetch. Cooper is our rescue Yorkie/Cairn terrier mix and loves napping in the sun. Both of our pups have been in a musical Caleb directed and love when our daughter walks them!
Our Extended Family
Ryan’s parents live at a lake house a short drive away and love taking our daughter on the boat. We love playing games, visiting cider mills, and cooking with the family. One of Ryan’s sisters lives 15 minutes away with her husband, and his other sister lives on the East Coast with her husband.
Caleb’s family is primarily in Georgia, where we visit a couple times per year. Caleb has two nieces who love when we bring our daughter into town! One of Caleb’s sisters lives nearby and babysits regularly.
We have picture books with all our families: Ryan’s family, Caleb’s family, our chosen family, and our daughter’s birthfamily. We love reading them and asking our daughter to name everybody!
We have many close friends in town whom we consider family, including our neighbors and their children. The neighbor boys call our daughter their “best friend” and greet us daily when we’re walking the dogs!
Our Adoption Story
We have always wanted children and bonded over wanting to be fathers together. Caleb is the oldest of six and helped raise his youngest siblings, while Ryan was a natural caretaker for his two younger sisters.
Adopting our daughter was the most amazing experience. We were extremely lucky to have an instant connection with her birthmother and traveled to meet her before the birth. We functioned as a three-parent family the first few days in the hospital, and it was so special. Being chosen to raise her child is the greatest honor, and we love keeping her updated with photos and on FaceTime.
Our community is extremely supportive and can’t wait for us to add another member to our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
