dear expectant mother
Dear Expecting Mama,
First of all, thank you for choosing life. Choosing life is not always the easiest decision. Part of the reason we have chosen adoption is because we are pro-life, and we believe being pro-life extends to beyond pro-birth.
Second of all, whomever you choose will always be indebted to you. Should you choose us, we will pay you back the only way we know how: We will always show your child unconditional love, support, and encouragement; will always provide and fulfill all needs; will always praise you for your decision to provide him or her the very best life we are able to; and never let him or her forget you made this decision out of the love of a mother, possibly the deepest love imaginable on this earth.
We can only imagine how scared you are choosing complete strangers to raise your child. We have been praying for you and your baby before we even began this process. We are beyond excited to bring home a baby to love on and for our two children to have a younger sibling. We are also scared, knowing we could end this empty-handed, but we are trusting in the Lord that His will can be fulfilled for us, whether that means a baby or not.
We will love and support you along this journey, however you choose. Thank you for looking at our profile!

About Us
We are a couple in our early thirties who love Jesus, athletics, and physical fitness. Sam works in the oil field, and Brooke is a stay-at-home mom with our son and daughter. We met in high school and started dating days after graduating in 2011, got engaged our senior year of college, and married after graduation in 2015. We waited to have children and spent the first 3.5 years of our marriage bettering our physical fitness, going on once-in-a-lifetime trips, coaching, and strengthening our relationship with one another before being blessed with our son in 2019 and our daughter in 2022. We have not changed our passions with the welcoming of children but rather find every way to include our children as we continue to pursue them. We strive to be a family who says yes to adventure, hospitality, and helping those in need.
Our Home & Pets
Our quiet neighborhood is a mix of young children and retirees who enjoy the kids. Our children will be attending a public school district, with our elementary just blocks away. Our community is a mix of transplants from the oil field industry and families with multigenerational ties. The residents are supportive of students in both athletics and fine arts. Living in northwest North Dakota, we experience hot summers, freezing winters, and every type of weather in between. We have easy access to hiking and fishing. Our Lab, Oakley, is included in as many outdoor activities as possible. Our coonhound, Doug, is overcoming anxiety after experiencing abuse from his initial owners. We are continually working with him to feel comfortable leaving the house.
Our Extended Family
Brooke’s family consists of her mom, dad, sister, and brother. Both siblings are married, with her sister living in North Dakota with a step-son and two step-daughters and her brother living in Pennsylvania with two sons, both born within months of our children. Baseball has been a huge part of the family, with her dad coaching for over 40 years.
Sam’s family includes his mom, his dad, his sister and her long-term boyfriend, two nephews with one on the way, and one niece, all in the same town as us. For both families, holidays are a favorite tradition, specifically Thanksgiving and Christmas. Whenever possible, we love having holiday dinners with both sides of the family at once.
Brooke’s maternal side of the family has a reunion every year for whoever is able to attend. Some years there are 10-15 and other years there are upwards of 60. Though her paternal side does not have reunions, one cousin, ten months older than Brooke, is one of our best friends and has a strong relationship with our kids. Sam’s paternal side of the family also enjoys family reunions but prefers to do them every 2-3 years when the majority can attend, averaging 30 relatives.
What Led Us To Adoption
Brooke first felt the Lord lay the idea of adoption on her heart while on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic in 2011. At first she felt she was caught up in the moment, but the idea never faded. After talking with Sam while dating, we realized this was an idea we would one day love to pursue. Meeting Brooke’s best friend in college, adopted from India, further strengthened our desire to adopt. After a disappointing pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum medical care with our daughter, we do not want to go through a biological birth again, but our family still does not feel complete. We feel the most financially set we have in our marriage, and we know now is the time to pursue adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
