dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We write this letter with profound respect and care for the weighty decision you’re considering. Your strength is truly inspiring, and it emboldens us to open our hearts to the precious gift of a child. We admire your selfless love, and your choice reflects a love that knows no boundaries.
We see family as a bond created out of love, respect, and mutual care that transcends biology. Our home overflows with laughter and love, a nurturing environment we long to share with your child. Our daughter, dogs, and extended family eagerly await a new member to love and cherish.
We promise to provide a loving, safe, and supportive environment for your child. Their dreams, growth, and well-being will be our top priority. Your courage deeply moves us, and we are immensely grateful for your consideration. Our shared hope is to honor your trust by providing your child with a life filled with stability, nurturing, and endless love.
With respect and gratitude,
April and Ian
About Us
We’re April and Ian, an adventurous couple ready to embrace parenthood through adoption. Ian thrives in the dynamic worlds of commercial real estate and software, while April excels in the bustling realm of residential real estate. Together, we share a passion for exploration, from skiing icy slopes to hiking verdant trails, and we love family camping under starlit skies. Our three-year-old daughter, Helen, has enriched our lives with resilience, patience, and a deeper understanding of love. We treasure moments with her, whether it's family dinners, evening bike rides, or walks with our dogs. With a foundation of love and adventure, we are excited to expand our family through adoption while offering a warm and nurturing home full of new experiences and lasting memories.
Our Home & Pets
As dedicated animal lovers, we share our home with two large, lovable rescue dogs, Isla and Patches, as well as Snuffy, our vibrant orange parrot fish, who’s been with us for over 13 years. Our neighborhood sits against mountain foothills, with hiking and biking trails and golf courses right at our doorstep. Nearby mountains and a beautiful reservoir provide ample outdoor recreation opportunities, including skiing, paddleboarding, fishing, and family picnics. Our school district is known for its quality schools, both public and private. Helen is currently enrolled in the nurturing environment of a private school within minutes of our home.
Our Extended Family
We are fortunate to have a vibrant extended family. Ian is blessed with two sisters (Ian is a twin), each with two children, adding a mix of energetic nephews and a niece to our family circle. Despite one sister living in Canada, we maintain close relationships, cherishing their frequent visits. Ian’s parents, residing in Colorado, share precious time with us regularly.
April was raised by her beloved aunt, father, and grandmother, Helen. April’s aunt lives in Arizona. We ensure frequent visits to each other throughout the year. April's father and sister reside in New Mexico, and we make it a point to visit them annually. April's sister has Down syndrome and is truly a radiant soul and angel, bringing immense joy to our lives.
Our bonds with our aunts, uncles, and cousins are strong. We value and treasure our extended family time, creating shared memories and cherishing our collective traditions. We have also been extremely fortunate with several wonderful friends who have become our family throughout the years.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption holds a deeply personal and cherished place in our lives. Both April’s father and her aunt, who played a pivotal role as a mother figure, were adopted. Their narratives have instilled in us an understanding of familial bonds that transcend biology. Upon marrying, we shared a unified vision of expanding our family, not out of necessity but driven by a desire to adopt and love. Our family blossomed with the birth of our vivacious daughter, Helen, in 2019. We feel confident she’ll embrace the role of a loving older sister. We’re enthusiastically ready to welcome a new addition to our family, reinforcing our belief that love is the binding force that creates a family. We are so excited and grateful for this opportunity.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
