About Us
Happily married since May 2015, we first met each other in church when we were kids. We were friends through our teen and youth years. We love life and try to enjoy every minute of it, regardless of what life throws at us. We work in our e-commerce business, which we have owned since 2012. Alex’s hobby is playing accordion. Lou is a professional house cleaner and has owned the business for over 15 years. Nature and architecture attract both of us very much; we love to travel and enjoy cities, mountains, forests, lakes, beaches, and all our planet offers. On warm days, we bike, have barbecues, and swim. In the winter months, we like to spend time at home by the fireplace solving puzzles, playing games, and enjoying winter outdoor activities. We have a goldendoodle dog who loves children a lot. Her name is Zailey.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is in a great location in Chicago's northwest suburbs, backing up to a forest preserve with bike trails, a river, and parks. We see deer, foxes, and other wild animals. Our neighbors are very nice and kind, and the neighborhood is safe with great school ratings. Our home is a spacious house we remodeled upon moving in. We love to plant a garden every year. Usually we plant tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, and greens. Daily harvest is a great pleasure. Our house sits on a half acre lot and has lots of room for playing outside. We share our home with our goldendoodle Zailey who is the sweetest and loves children.
Our Extended Family
We both have been blessed with our large and loving families. Our families are Christian and regularly attend church services. Every year or so, we have a family reunion. Usually it is at one of our nieces or nephews’ weddings, but there were a few special reunions where we gathered in the Lake Tahoe area lodge.
Alex comes from a big family. His siblings currently live in California, Colorado, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, and Illinois.
Lou comes from a family of seven. They are very supportive and excited for our adoption journey!
What Led Us To Adoption
We both grew up in families with lots of children and would like to grow our family also. We have lots of love we would like to share with a child. We have been open to adopting for a while. Due to infertility issues, we aren’t able to conceive but know that we will love an adopted child no less than if they were created by us. We are extremely excited about adopting and know that it is the right choice. We will do everything we possibly can to make a child’s life positive and enjoyable!

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
