dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for reading our profile. We cannot imagine the emotions you must be feeling and how hard this decision must be for you. This choice you’re considering embodies selflessness and speaks to how much you care for your child. Words cannot describe how eternally grateful we are for your sacrifice and for considering us. Please know your decision is a testament to the love you have for your child and will never leave them. You are and will forever be a mother in our eyes. We understand adoption brings much joy and love but also heartbreak and grief. We want you to know we see you and we respect your sacrifice. It’s important for you to know, if you choose us, that we will be transparent with your child about how they came to us and who you are to them.

Being parents is something we have always longed for. Please know your baby will be entering a home filled with love. There are countless family members and friends ready and eager to shower them with love and affection. We will do our best to make sure no need goes unmet, and we are able to support their every dream and endeavor. We plan on providing any and every opportunity we can to your child to ensure they live a fulfilling and enriching life. Thank you for considering us!

About Us

We met in California and, within a year, moved to Ohio due to Spencer commissioning as an officer in the military. We’ve been together for five years and have been married for three. Alejandro is outgoing, tries to find joy in everything, and is passionate about his family. Spencer is extroverted, is structured, and cares deeply for those he loves. We are dedicated and enjoy helping others, which led us both to our careers in the medical field. We love being a military family and all the adventures it brings our way. We are lucky to have supportive and loving families who accept us for who we are. In our free time, we love getting together with our close friends and exploring new restaurants. We’re total foodies! When we’re home, we love nothing more than spending time with our two dogs, Korra and Rigby.

Our Home & Pets

We recently purchased our first home, a single-story, three- bedroom, mid-century charm with a tree house in the big backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and filled with friendly and welcoming neighbors. We reside in Texas, and due to living in a military town, we are fortunate to have a close-knit community. We are a day trip away from some major cities, which are also home to some of our friends and families, whom we see often. We adopted Rigby at our first base and adopted Korra in our current city. Rigby is gentle and sweet and loves to cuddle. Korra is full of energy and takes her role as the house guard dog very seriously. Both have been around children of all ages and have been nothing but patient and loving with them.

Our Extended Family

Spencer comes from a big family. His dad emigrated from Guatemala to America when he was 17 years old, and his mother emigrated here from Indonesia; both overcame many adversities and have become prosperous entrepreneurs. Spencer’s dad is one of ten children and his mother one of four. His father goes back to Guatemala frequently and remains very close to his family. An annual holiday tradition they have is making tamales during Christmas. Spencer would spend two to three weeks in Guatemala every summer and still visits them frequently. Spencer has a younger brother and younger cousin, both of whom he is very close to.

Alejandro doesn’t come from a big family. His mother and father are originally from Mexico, and despite many hardships, his father became a successful business owner. He has two older brothers, each of whom have four children of their own. Alejandro is closest with his oldest brother, and despite living in different cities, we try to see each other as much as we can. He is the youngest of his siblings and is the closest to his mother. We have expressed to Alejandro’s mother and stepfather about living with us in the future. For us, having an intergenerational household is important.

What Led Us To Adoption

For Spencer, adoption is nothing new. Growing up, his grandmother adopted two of his cousins, and he was able to witness the love his family had for them. Whether adopted or biological, there was no difference; at the end of the day they were family, and they were loved. We view adoption as a gift, one not to be taken for granted but one to be treasured. We have always wanted to be parents and feel adoption strongly aligns with our values.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
