Through our own struggles and experiences, we have grown in faith and compassion. We believe God has led us to adoption as a way to share His love and blessings with a child. About Us
Rachel is from Oklahoma, and Collen is from Kansas. We met in law school at the University of Oklahoma and decided to settle down in Kansas after Collen accepted a job at a law firm. Collen is hardworking, tender-hearted, and an incredible leader. Rachel is nurturing, loyal, and especially kind. Even though we live in the city, we take any opportunity we can to get away to the family ranch. It’s heaven on Earth. We look forward to bringing our kids here and making memories in the river, on the tractor, and under the Kansas sunsets. We truly are each other’s best friend. We could spend most days just being in each other’s company but take every opportunity we can to get away to Colorado—hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. The great outdoors is a constant reminder of God’s presence, and we find no greater joy than being close to God.
Our Home
Our main residence is nestled in the suburbs, where we’re blessed to share a neighborhood with our best friends, who are eagerly awaiting their first child. Its open floor plan and ranch-style design make it perfect for gatherings filled with lots of laughter, whether cheering on our favorite team or sharing weekly dinners. A short drive away is our family ranch house, offering an escape from the hustle of everyday life. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we cherish weekends spent gathered around bonfires, exploring the great outdoors, and simply enjoying each other's company. We feel incredibly fortunate to have the best of both worlds: the vibrant community and excellent schools of the suburbs coupled with the peaceful getaway of the ranch.
Our Extended Family
Spending quality time with our families holds a special place in our hearts. We both have amazing parents and extended families. Collen has one sister, while Rachel is blessed with two siblings and an amazing bonus family. We share a close bond with our siblings, but Rachel’s connection with her grandpa is truly special; she sees him as a real-life superhero.
With Collen’s family, we cherish outdoor adventures like hiking, skiing, and boating and evening bonfires, often gathering at the family ranch. Rachel’s family enjoys being poolside, playing board games, golfing, and talking about life.
As none of our siblings have children yet, all sets of grandparents eagerly await the arrival of their first grandbaby, filling our hearts with anticipation and joy.
What Led Us To Adoption
Rachel always knew she wanted to adopt. Her “bonus family” adopted their daughter in 2015, and it has been on her heart ever since. Our journey the past few years, marked by fertility struggles, has led us down this beautiful path. As Christians, we believe in serving God by nurturing his children, seeing adoption not just as a means to parenthood but as an opportunity to share our love and blessings. This decision, rooted in love and faith, reflects our deepest desires to embrace a child as our very own. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to expand our family and share the life we have built with a little one.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
