We don’t know you and can never understand what you’re going through at this time, but we do know for you to be here considering letting another love and raise your child, you are strong and selfless. Thank you for taking the time to check us out. We are so grateful. We hope during this process, you can find comfort and peace in whichever decision you might make.
Should you choose us, we promise to love this child with all our hearts. We promise he or she will be surrounded by family who love and embrace them. They will have the most fun-loving group of aunts and uncles. Their life will be full with family and friends, trying any sport or activity, swimming all day with cousins at the cabin, playing games, doing puzzles, reading books, going hiking, dancing, and snuggling.
Jared is the daddy who will protect his babies and keep them giggling all day. Laura will encourage and facilitate growth in any opportunity—and give probably too many hugs and kisses! While we never know what the future holds, as far as we are able, we will raise them in a stable home where they learn how to love, how to fight well, and how to have fun! Thank you again for your love and concern for your child’s life. Give us the opportunity, and we will work hard to honor that effort.
About Us
Laughter is the sauce to our family! Jokes, silly nicknames, singing, and dancing are commonplace in our home. We live in a charming suburb of Minnesota. We met in 2017, married in 2018, and had our daughter, Charlie, in 2019. We appreciate the life we’ve been given and work hard to cherish it. Jared is outgoing, while Laura is reserved. Laura will get a party started, and Jared makes sure everyone is having a good time. We both have a heart for those in need of love and are there to provide it. We each have flexible schedules as Jared is a special agent and Laura is a realtor. We share a love of sports and find time to get Charlie and our dog, Harvey, out for walks and to the park. We have faith in Jesus and continually seek His guidance in love, parenting, and life.
Our Home & Pets
We have a two-story home in a quiet neighborhood minutes from walkable restaurants, shops, a large lake, and beautiful parks. We live minutes from the Montessori school Charlie attends and most appreciate that style of learning and development for a child. We own some land on the north side of town, including a two-acre lot we hope to build a home on soon. We love to travel north to our family cabin and beyond to enjoy the shores of Lake Superior. We have one active dog, Harvey, who keeps a close eye on Charlie! He loves his girl and, of course, any attention.
Our Extended Family
We are both fortunate to be close with our families. Jared’s two siblings in North Dakota each have young children. Laura has five siblings, three of whom have children. This provides our Charlie with 13 wild cousins she loves and adores! Jared’s family is a little farther away, but we love the chance to get together for holidays and it’s always a warm, fun visit. Jared’s mother and sister are best at staying in touch with calls or letters in the mail. Jared’s sister’s family is living an awesome farm life on their acreage in North Dakota. Jared’s brother has twins who love teaching Charlie the way!
Laura’s side all live relatively close to one another, with the exception of one brother in New York. The rowdy group loves tradition and takes every opportunity to celebrate any occasion together. Years ago, we began heading to our family cabin immediately following Thanksgiving for a two-day celebration we call “Christmas Kick-Off,” filled with Christmas music and the outdoors! Humor plays a big role in both sides of our families. Any child we may have the gift of raising would be blessed with four active and adoring grandparents!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have wanted to grow our family since the day Charlie turned five months. It has been a long road with no luck, and during that time, we came to the conclusion we wanted to adopt a child and give him or her a loving home. We cannot wait to hopefully give Charlie a younger sibling. Jared has one brother who was adopted as an infant, and Laura has two sisters adopted as young girls. With our experiences and backgrounds, we feel excited that this may be the path for us!

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
