We feel very hopeful and grateful to be a part of this experience. Your decision takes a lot of strength, and we admire you for your courage. Even though we don’t know you or know what it is like to go through this, we understand you will be experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions. Should you choose us, your child will be supported and loved by us and our entire family. Your child will be raised in a home where they will feel cared for and loved.
We look forward to raising a family in the same town and home where Jeffrey was raised. We look forward to sharing a future of playing in our large yard with our dog, roasting smores on the back patio with friends, cooking and baking, spending time with the family at campsites, and of course carrying on the family tradition of fishing! We also look forward to sharing our “nerdy” interests and tendencies with Star Wars and Star Trek.

About Us
Hello! We are Jeffrey and Hilary from Illinois. We met in college in 2011. We went as friends on an unplanned and surprising trip to Hilary's hometown to visit family and to see a Star Wars movie. What we expected to be an afternoon trip ended up to be an overnight stay together with family due to a snowstorm. After that eye-opening trip, we went on our first date a week later! We were married only a few years later in 2015. Jeffrey is a hardworking and kind person who tries to find humor and joy in life. Hilary is a warm-spirited, witty, & caring person who always tries to make her day more fun. Together, we are two very dorky people who love each other very much.
Our Home & Pets
Our house is located in a small rural town close to a bigger city. We enjoy the close community of our small town, where we know most of our neighbors. Our house sits on the edge of town with a large backyard and patio. We have a goofy dog named Chewy, two sweet indoor cats named Stella and Milo, and two tanks full of vibrant saltwater fish. Our pets are very spoiled by us. We want to provide a loving, caring, and fun home for any child. We can't wait to share our lives and a happy future!
Our Extended Family
Both our families are very social, fun, and loud. We live in the same town as Jeffrey's family and are close to them. Jeffrey has a large family that enjoys getting together every holiday they can. Although Hilary’s family is an hour and a half or more way, we enjoy taking trips to spend time with them in Missouri. Most holidays with Hilary’s family are full of laughter and stories.
Jeffrey’s family likes to spend a lot of time outdoors working on their garden or house. They also enjoy biking through town as well as fishing. Jeffrey and his dad still compete in fun local annual fishing tournaments in nearby towns. We also get together with Jeffrey's family to
grill out and have bonfires. We enjoy doing things with our nephews when they come to visit or stay. We try to take them out for fun activities they don't get to normally do since they live in a big city.
Hilary’s family enjoys watching and going to sporting events, cooking together, sharing family stories, discussing books they’ve read, doing puzzles, watching movies & spending time outside. Growing up, Hilary spent a lot of time with her dad volunteering around the community through clubs as well as visiting various museums and art galleries. Hilary also spent a lot of time with her mother going to concerts and traveling throughout the U.S.
What Led Us To Adoption
Even though we are unable to have children naturally, it has always been our plan to adopt since before we were married. Over the years adoption has had a big impact on our family and friends. Our nephews were adopted from a different country over nine years ago. We love them very much and will always be thankful for the day they came into our family’s lives. We also have friends and coworkers who have been blessed by adoption. Adoption has even been a part of Hilary’s job as a court clerk. There have been several adoption hearings Hilary has been involved with in our county over the years.

Your Baby With Confidence

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
