dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

It’s hard to imagine how you’re feeling as you make this life-altering decision. We imagine it takes an amazing amount of strength, deep love, and fierce courage to navigate this process. Please know that by doing so, you are offering hope and light to a family that has felt hopeless. We stand in awe of your selfless sacrifice and are incredibly grateful to you.

If you choose us, please know that your child will be loved always and unconditionally while surrounded by loving family and friends who will cherish them and cheer them on. We will strive to create a life full of adventure and joy, supporting them as they discover what they’re passionate about. When they face obstacles, we’ll be there to encourage, support, and see them through it. Throughout our childhoods, we were given room to grow. We want to provide a child with these same opportunities and will do our absolute best to nurture them to be kind, caring, and confident as we help them flourish into the person they’re meant to be.

Your strength and kindness will change the lives of the couple you select forever. If we are that couple, we promise to do our best to help you feel confident in your decision. We will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have about how we will put your child first and give them a beautiful life.

Gratefully,
Danielle & Stanton

About Us

Our love story began with a leap of faith and a 600-mile move after only two dates! We have been together for 14 years and married in 2014. We’re excited to start a family of our own. We both have an innate love for life. We enjoy hosting friends and family, which always includes telling stories and laughing. Sometimes we spend quiet evenings at home, but we also enjoy trying new activities or restaurants. Danielle works in corporate advertising. Naturally creative, she also loves cooking, DIY projects, and decorating. Stanton is a software company partner. He loves the outdoors and spends his free time fishing, biking, boating, and sailing. We are both lucky to work from home and enjoy the flexibility this gives us. We have a wonderful circle of friends and a tight-knit family both nearby and outside of South Carolina.

Our Home & Pets

We live on seven beautiful acres in the heart of a medium-sized, South Carolina town. Our home is 15 minutes away from the zoo, parks, museums, and more. We live near both sets of grandparents as well as aunts and uncles. Over the last few years, we have remodeled our four-bedroom home with large porches and decks overlooking the woods. Danielle has made our home cozy and comfortable. The nursery will be full of whimsy and fun to give a child space of their own to grow and learn. We also have several pets, including chickens, four tortoises, two cats, and a fun-loving dog named Jetty. Nearby, we have access to a sailing club with a private beach and playground.

Our Extended Family

Both of our parents live within a few minutes’ drive from our home, and we are blessed to be able to spend time with them often. We love to host holidays and gatherings in our home for family and friends. Stanton’s siblings live a few hours away on the South Carolina coast. We visit them often and look forward to spending family weekends at the beach and exploring the coastline. We joke that their home will be our family’s summer surf camp one day.

Danielle’s brother and sister-in-law live nearby and are trying to start a family of their own. Her sister lives in Ohio with our two nieces and nephew. We don’t see them as often as we’d like, but we FaceTime nearly every day and plan road trips as often as possible. Our families are both loving and open. When we are all together, it is loud and full of laughter and joy!

What Led Us To Adoption

We discovered we were unable to conceive a child in 2022. Over the last two years, we have navigated the IVF process, which was unsuccessful. Our journey up to this point has been difficult but has brought us closer together and also given us insight into what is truly important in our lives. We are hopeful and excited for the ability to create the family we have dreamed of for so long through adoption. Over the last few years, we have worked to ensure we are in a positive position to comfortably raise a family and to provide the best homelife possible. Our dream is to raise a little one in a happy and healthy, family-centric environment with a focus on creating memories and happy moments throughout their childhood.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
