dear expectant mother

We are so honored you are considering us to be part of this journey you are embarking upon. We cannot imagine the emotions you are experiencing right now, and your bravery and generosity are extraordinary and show just how much you love your baby. We will pray for you and your well-being throughout this process and after as well as for guidance for you in making such a difficult decision.

We have faith that you will make the right decision for you and your child, and we wish peace and comfort for you on this journey, whoever it may lead you to. Dan and his brother were both adopted, and he has always been taught and felt that his birthmother gave him and his parents the greatest gift imaginable by allowing him to be a part of their family. We dearly hope you will offer us the same opportunity to share such a profound blessing.

If we are lucky enough to be chosen by you, your baby will have all the love in the world and will be immediately welcomed into two wonderful, occasionally chaotic families. Your child will never be without a loving, stable, and fun home filled with laughter, support, and far too many books. They will have a life of family gatherings, travel, neighborhood block parties, education, and all the comfort and opportunity we can offer, and they will likely always have at least one dog around to snuggle with as well! There would be no greater gift than having you choose us to raise your child.

About Us

We’re Julia and Daniel. We met online in 2015, fell in love despite differing opinions on which sports teams to support, and got married in 2017 with those nearest and dearest on hand. Julia is an attorney and the executive director of a nurses union, and Daniel is a network engineer for a VoIP company. We have a wonderful (but very manipulative when she wants treats) four-year-old dog named Clover, who is beloved throughout our neighborhood; she is far more popular than we are. We love books (Julia loves mysteries, and Daniel loves sci-fi and fantasy) and traveling together, and we try to stay creative, with Julia writing and Daniel playing guitar. We are very close to our families, so family visits are a common event in our lives. Daniel is also learning how to cook, so there’s always something interesting coming out of the kitchen!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a community-oriented neighborhood full of kids, dogs, and very social neighbors. We have two block parties a year with tons of activities for both kids and adults, including pickleball, a bounce house, and squirt gun fights. We moved to our town in part because of its excellent schools, and we live about a block from one of the elementary schools; there are always kids walking by in the mornings and afternoons. Our dog, Clover, even knows when the kids get out of school and sits by the front door so we’ll let her out on the front steps to get visits and pets. It’s her favorite part of the day, and the kids love it as well!

Our Extended Family

Family is important to both of us, and we’ve both retained wonderful familial relationships. We have frequent family get-togethers, often on major holidays, and they’re always a joy. Many of our cousins have babies or young children themselves, and we look forward to adding to the chaos!

Julia has one brother, a sister-in-law, and nine cousins; in fact, she even works with her brother. We enjoy getting together with her brother and sister-in-law to get dinner or go to a movie, and we’ll have “cousins’ nights,” where her cousins will all get together to visit, laugh, and play board games.

Daniel has one brother and eight cousins. He and his brother share a love of video games and classic cartoons. Daniel’s family does a monthly breakfast where anyone who can make it will go out to eat together on the first Saturday of the month. They also do a Christmas Walk, where they go out to dinner and window shop and look at Christmas lights.

What Led Us To Adoption

We’ve always loved the idea of adoption, in part because Daniel and his brother were both adopted but also because we believe it’s one of the greatest gifts a person can share. We’ve struggled with infertility, and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to bring a child into our home! We have so much love to give and so many blessings in our lives that we want to share, and the greatest blessing of all will be sharing those with a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
