dear expectant mother

We can never imagine or pretend to know how you feel about considering the options in front of you. All we can do is assure you, if you choose us, we will make it our priority to always do what’s best for your baby. No matter how our profile looks, it is important to know we won’t be perfect parents, and we will never pretend to be. We will make mistakes along the way. However, those mistakes will be made because we will be trying our best to be the best loving parents to your baby.

We have a place in our hearts for another child, and we want nothing more than to grow our family. If you choose to put your faith and trust in us to raise and protect your baby, we will be grateful every day. We promise you that no matter what, we will love this baby unconditionally and forever. We will ensure your baby will always know how much you love them and how special they are.

Thank you for not only giving your baby life but for taking the time to look at our profile. This must be extremely overwhelming, and we are praying somehow you find peace and comfort with this decision.

About Us

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Kathy was an elementary music teacher for seven years. She loves to play the piano, sing, garden, swim, play tennis, read, and walk our dogs. She’s involved in our children's school as a room parent and volunteers for school events. Chris dedicates a majority of his time to his career and spending time with the family. He is an avid Chicago Bears fan, collects sports memorabilia, and enjoys working on investment opportunities. He also volunteers on the finance and operations board at our children's school, and he plans to volunteer and coach our kids’ athletics when they are old enough and if they choose to participate. His favorite days of the week are weekends, when there is no work or school and we can spend time together as a family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a large home on almost an acre of land in a suburb of Chicago, with a big playset, a sandbox, gardens, veggie garden beds, lots of grass, and a separately fenced-in inground pool. We are in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks, a park within walking distance, and neighbors who wave and are friendly. There are many young families with children in our neighborhood. We also have two beloved Shetland sheepdogs who adore our children. We have four bedrooms, a den/playroom, a finished basement, 2.5 bathrooms, and plenty of space. Our home hosts annual events such as back-to-school pool parties, birthday celebrations, and Thanksgiving. We always like our home to be a welcoming and a fun place for all.

Our Extended Family

We both come from larger families with three and four siblings. Birthday parties and holiday gatherings are always celebrated with large attendance. All of our nieces and nephews are five and under, so it is a younger group and fun to see how they all interact at the gatherings. Our siblings spend a lot of time playing with our kids and enjoy playing with the toys and games almost as much as the kids do.

One of our annual traditions is hosting a large family pool party at our house. We all get together to enjoy our pool, cook out, spend time with each other, and laugh. We are lucky to have both sets of our parents be wonderful grandparents to our children. They always show so much love and make our children feel special.

What Led Us To Adoption

We feel our family is not yet complete. We have been hoping and praying for another child after miscarrying our third child at 16 weeks and unsuccessfully getting pregnant again. We feel there must be a baby out there who’s meant for us to love, cherish, and raise. We have the financial means and a large home, and our children are praying for a little baby sibling. Being parents is what brings us the most joy in our lives, and we are so wanting to be blessed with one more child to complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
