dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking the time to read through our profile. We are so humbled and honored that you would consider us. We cannot begin to imagine your circumstances or feelings, but we do know your bravery and your love for your child will never be in question. You are highly valued, admired, and respected here. Your story will not be forgotten.

Our biggest hope and prayer is that your child is able to grow up confident in who (and whose!) they are. A child we have the honor of raising would be surrounded by love and support by both us and our family. They will be protected by us and our dogs. They will travel with us and have many opportunities to see this amazing world we live in. They will have the opportunity to try out any sport they want with Brooke as a personal coach and Hannah cheering them on. They will learn to appreciate art and music as well as cook and spend time visiting with family over meals. Through all of that, we will strive every day to remind your child how special and loved they are by you and by us.

Brooke and Hannah

About Us

We are best friends! We spend so much of our day laughing together. We talk all the time about anything and everything. Brooke teaches middle school and Hannah teaches high school, so our days are full of silly stories about our students. Brooke’s true passion at school is coaching her varsity softball team, while Hannah loves bonding with her students over books and TV shows. When we aren’t working, we love spending time with our puppies and our friends. We met at work and immediately became close and felt comfortable with each other. Hannah says that Brooke always felt like “home.” We encourage and challenge each other to be the best versions of ourselves. We just bought our first house together and are very excited to start the journey to building our family.

Our Home & Pets

We recently moved into our three-bedroom, three-bathroom house just outside of the city limits. We love everything the city has to offer but prefer the quietness, privacy, and space of being farther out. Our new neighborhood is full of families, and our community center has a gorgeous pool and a splash pad for the little ones! One of the best parts of our home is the backyard. We have a two-year-old husky mix named Willow who loves to run around the huge yard. She spends most of her time sunning outside or gently playing with our puppy, a one-year-old terrier mix named Naya. In the evenings, we prefer to wind down by taking walks or sitting upstairs in our loft area that overlooks the yard and the front street.

Our Extended Family

Brooke’s parents, sister, niece, and nephew all live relatively close by. We get together a few times a month and enjoy catching up while cooking a good meal. The rest of Brooke’s extended family lives in California, where she is originally from. Brooke helped raise her niece and nephew, so her relationships with them are very special. She now gets the opportunity to watch her niece raise her own daughter. We both work with Brooke’s nephew, so we get to see him often.

Hannah’s parents just moved to join her sister and brother up in Illinois, and Hannah’s youngest brother is starting his senior year of college. Although they don’t live close by, Hannah talks to her mom regularly and catches up with the rest of her family. When the whole family does get together, we play card games and board games and have even organized a whole family Olympics.

We can’t talk about our families without talking about our chosen family. We have a fantastic group of women we do life with almost daily. Their kids are our nieces and nephews. We get together and go on family vacations, take trips to the river, go hiking, go camping, and have weekly family dinners. They are an amazing support system.

What Led Us To Adoption

One of the things that drew us to each other was our individual desires to adopt. Brooke’s family has adoption all throughout, and Hannah has always had a heart for it. Family is so important to us both, and we are ready to start this journey. We have a lot of love to give a little one. We are so excited and honored to have the opportunity for our family to grow through the gift of adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
