dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We know you are making a very difficult decision that takes a lot of strength and courage, and we are so grateful you are considering us. We want you to know this precious little human will be loved unconditionally. They will grow up with a loving extended family who will always be there no matter how far away they live. They will be growing up in a Christian home and taught to help, not judge. They will be taught to respect others and be authentic to themselves.

This little baby will have a big brother they will get to grow up with and learn from. They will get to travel and have a life full of experiences. They will get to enjoy extended family and participate in family traditions for years to come.

We can’t begin to understand what you are going through, but we do know this little human will bring our family so much joy. We are not perfect and we will make mistakes, but we will raise this child to be caring and kind and to stand up for what is right. They will learn to work hard and enjoy the little things in life.

About Us

We are Autumn and Dave from Illinois. We met 14 years ago through a mutual friend and got married in 2014. Dave is serious and focused, while Autumn is easygoing and relaxed. We balance each other out. Dave works as a chemist, and Autumn works in operations. We have both worked hard in our careers and are ready to slow down and focus on family. We have one son, Benjamin, who is three. He loves to sing and be silly. He loves Buzz Lightyear, anything construction, and marbles. We are an adventurous family and love to travel. We have been to China, Japan, South Korea, and Italy. We also head to the beach when we get a chance. We do an annual trip with Autumn’s family to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We love the natural setting, the seclusion it offers, and the chance to slow down and enjoy our time with family.

Our Home

We live in a five-bedroom, three-bath, traditional colonial in the suburbs of a major metropolitan area in the state of Illinois. We have a large backyard our son loves to play in. We chose our town because it is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Besides having one of the highest ranked school systems in the state, our town boasts a number of parks with playgrounds for all ages as well as extensive nature trails and bike paths for fun outdoor family activities. One of our favorite things to do in the summertime is to spend the day at our local beach. We have multiple train lines that connect us to a major city with easy access to museums, restaurants, and sporting events.

Our Extended Family

We are both fortunate to be part of a large family. Combined, we have five siblings and 20 cousins and are also blessed to have 10 nieces and nephews. Our son loves playing with all of his cousins at family gatherings.

We are very close with our families and enjoy hanging out every chance we get. We especially love to travel and attend sporting events with our extended families. Some of our favorite annual events include spending one week a year on the shores of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, renting a house for a long weekend in a new location, and planning a group baseball outing each year.

We are very blessed to be so close to our families. They have always been there for us through good and bad times and are looking forward to welcoming a new addition to our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has not always been a part of our story. Through life's journey, God has shown us how wonderful it is to have a house full of laughter and joy. Raising our son has been a joyous experience greater than either of us could have imagined. We have long wished to add to the joy by having another child. However, we are unable to have any more biological children. We still have so much love to give and have embraced adoption to help us complete our family. We are excited to begin this journey and to provide a loving home to your child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
