dear expectant mother

Wow! You are an amazing and strong woman! You are having to face so many decisions. We cannot imagine what you are going through right now and the emotions you are facing. All of the decisions you are making take a lot of courage, strength, and selflessness, and we truly admire you for that.

We appreciate you taking the time to consider us walking on this journey with you. If you choose us, your baby will be raised in a loving home with five siblings and a host of extended family waiting to embrace your child and to make them part of our family. We are committed to doing the best we can for your child.

We wish you peace in your decision making and want you to know we would be absolutely honored if you chose us. We promise to love your child as our own and to give them a life full of adventure, education, fun, and, most importantly, a family. You will always have a special place in our hearts!

Love,
Nate & Annie

About Us

Hello! We are Nate and Annie from a small town in Minnesota. We met while in high school and have been married for 22 years. We have five beautiful children ranging from six to 19 years old. Nate is hardworking, full of fun, and genuine. He is self-employed and owns a plumbing and heating business with one of his brothers. Together, we own a wood milling business. Annie tends to be a little more on the shy side, practical, and caring. Annie is a registered nurse at our local hospital, where she works part time. We live in the community we both grew up in. We have a wonderful neighborhood with many friends. Our parents and most of our family live nearby, which we are so fortunate to have! We enjoy a simple life and spending time with our children as well as our extended family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a spacious country house tucked in the pine trees with a large yard and a cabin and lake within walking distance from our home. Many weekends in the summer are spent at our cabin and on the lake. The kids have plenty of room to ride their dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and snowmobiles. We currently are putting in a pool and have a sauna, music room with drums and guitars, and she-shed for crafting. We have three pet Highland cows! Their names are Howie, Ruby, and Ingrid. They are so much fun to watch! There are many adventures in our community, such as music events, endless trails for four-wheeling and snowmobiling, a state park, a great school system, small-town shopping, and wonderful restaurants.

Our Extended Family

Nate is one of eight kids, and Annie is one of four kids. We feel family is extremely important, and we love coming from large families! There are twenty-three grandkids on Nate’s side of the family and fifteen on Annie’s.

All holidays are spent with our extended families. What a fun and busy time! Every year after Thanksgiving, we go to Annie’s parents’ farm and find our own Christmas tree. We host Nate’s side of the family every summer for a long weekend of camping at our cabin. As a family, we enjoy boating in the summer, being outside, playing games, campfires, attending music events, and snowmobiling in the winter. We are fortunate to live in beautiful Minnesota!

What Led Us To Adoption

We are excited to grow our family even more! We have five biological children and would love to grow our family through adoption. Our hearts are filled with the desire to bring a child into our loving home. Annie’s sister and brother-in-law as well as some of our aunts and uncles have also grown their families through adoption, and what a blessing it has been! We feel honored to have the opportunity to bring another child into our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
